Little Pentre Barn, woodburner, lovely views/pubs.The Barn is set in three acres of private grounds overlooking glorious views towards the English border. It has a cosy wood burner and natural oak timber frame beams throughout. A full height glazed window looks out onto a private balcony area and there is an enclosed garden adjoining the property. A heated swimming pool, open June to August, is available, shared with the other holiday properties on the farm. Ideal for families or couples wanting quiet, secluded breaks in a peaceful rural area.
Self contained guest house on Welsh borderBuilt in the 1800s, part of what used to be The Comet Inn the Annex still has the features with the oak beams in the downstairs space, and a beautiful fireplace that we recently uncovered. Appletree Cottage, Self Check-In, Free ParkingSmall end-cottage in pleasant village location. Particularly handy for routes into North & West Wales, and for visitors to the specialist Orthopaedic Hospital & Derwen College. Guests will appreciate it's quirkiness with it's slightly charming "shabby chic" characteristics - we're gradually making improvements to it, including the garden - however the house is now in nice clean, & functional condition. We would advise wearing footwear in the garden as the grass is a little brittle at mo.
