Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful Home! Loved the decor and style of the furnishings. The kitchen was very open and inviting. Great view of the quiet and peaceful lake. Lots of wild life to view and enjoy. Three King size beds, giant shower areas, and deck on 2nd floor were amazing. Hot tub was a huge bonus, after figuring out how to get it out of sleep mode. Westin was a great and responsive host with any communication, including prior to booking. We would not hesitate to use this listing again in the future. Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

What a beautiful place!!!! Exactly like the pictures!! Very “up to date”, clean and comfortable! Even with minor issue we had with the super cool hot tub, David was very helpful and immediately responsive. We will definitely be going back!!! Enjoyed our stay very much!!!!

We stayed at the cabin for three nights while birding at Sax-Zim bog. It was really comfortable and plenty of space for the two of us and our dogs. We loved the bird feeders which attracted all kinds of winter birds, and the view from the patio is gorgeous! Only 20 minutes from the bog. Lots of space for the dogs to run around in the snow. Extra bathroom near the upstairs bed was very convenient. Kitchen was spacious and clean and the bed was really comfortable (and I’m picky about that!) Will definitely stay here again when visiting the bog! Recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin with our family (my wife, our 23-month-old, 7-week-old, and our Labrador). It was the perfect peaceful getaway. The setting is private and serene, nestled right on the Kettle River, and the cabin itself was spotless and cozy. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made it easy to cook meals, and we enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and around the firepit. One of our favorite moments was enjoying coffee on the deck while listening to the river. Our toddler loved exploring the outdoor space, and our Lab had the time of his life sniffing around the woods. The host was incredibly responsive and proactive throughout our stay, which made everything smooth from start to finish. It’s also conveniently located, just 10 minutes from a grocery store and a few restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind in a beautiful natural setting.

Awesome space! The cabin was perfect for what we were looking for and has great amenities. The sauna was a unique amenity that we enjoyed immensely. Host was very responsive and proactive in making sure we were set for our stay. Looking forward to coming back!

A truly magical escape! From the moment we stepped into this cabin, it felt like walking into a storybook. Every corner was full of love, thoughtfulness, and hidden treasures. It was like staying in a living museum—so many charming details to take in, quirky pieces to admire, and cozy nooks to explore. There was something new to appreciate each day. Our kids were absolutely enchanted! They spent hours playing with the games, LEGOs, army men, and other little gems tucked around the cabin. Their imaginations ran wild—and so did their energy (thankfully!). The surrounding nature was the perfect playground: long nature walks, climbing trees, watching birds and critters—it was nonstop adventure from sunrise to sunset. And after all that fun? The beds were like clouds. So comfortable, we all slept like logs every night. We are so grateful to have found this slice of magic and can’t wait to return. It’s more than a stay—it’s an experience you’ll carry with you long after you leave.

The location and scenery are incredible, just like the cabin itself. From the start, we were blown away by the serenity and beauty of this home. With the beach adjacent to the property, it’s a perfect place to relax both outside and in. The interior is just as wonderful as the environment outside, which only makes the entirety of the location better. Sitting on the shoreline n the brisk wind to have a hot sauna waiting for you is about as good as it gets. The instructions for checkin and checkout were clear and easy to follow, along with the directions left throughout the cabin for the fireplaces and other amenities. It made the stay easy and worry free. It was a wonderful weekend at a wonderful location! Thank you for the much-needed getaway!

We loved staying at Samantha's property. Communication was great, the cabin was clean and super cozy and had everything that we needed. This is a little gem up north and we would love to stay here again. The lake is beautiful and the rental comes with kayaks and other water toys. We kayaked to the local restaurant which was easy to get to and a very pretty, short paddle away. We loved sitting by the fire and they had ample firewood provided. Can't say enough about the experience!

we absolutely loved the Hygge House and our stay there. Not only was it adorable and beautifully decorated, it was immaculately clean and Kaity and Brett were wonderful to work with-So kind and responsive. We even added on another day to our trip because we were loving it and needing the quiet and rest away from home. The Cable area is our favorite and we will definitely be back to this wonderful place to stay.

Brian was a great host in answering questions ahead of time as well as giving suggestions. The family enjoyed it a lot. Unfortunately, weather didn’t hold up like how we wanted to but inside was a home away from home. Would definitely recommend and come back again!

We had a great time in the woods! The cabin is exactly what you're hoping for when you want a rustic, imperfect cabin experience. Nothing fancy but totally liveable. It was quiet, warm, and comfortable. We hope to be back!

This is our third year staying at this AirBnB and we love it. It has plenty of space for our family and is beautiful and peaceful. The game room is great for the kids and we enjoy cozying up around the fireplace and playing games around the table. There’s a small hill for the younger kids to sled down and we hike around the lake when the weather is cold. Thanks for letting us use your place and we look forward to staying their again!

Amazing place if you are looking to unplug and enjoy piece and quiet. Cabin was amazing, property was immaculate, and Sue was amazing and we are grateful to have her host us. Highly recommend and we will be visiting again.

After 16 years of marriage and raising three very busy children, these four days away were very needed. This cozy cabin in the woods was everything we had hoped for!! The decor, ambiance, quiet! Absolutely loved our time away. We will be recommending this place to our friends and will book again if we come this way! Kayla is a remarkable host!!! Highly highly recommend!!

From the time we pulled up till we walked out the door on the day of check-out we were blown away. The place is beautiful, Lisa seriously thought about everything! We all arrived after a very long drive and it was so inviting and warm walking in to see what we got to call home for our stay. If you get the opportunity to stay here you will not be disappointed. My husband and I felt like it was the perfect place for our family trip and wished we would have been able to stay longer! When we make it back to Cloquet again we will for sure be staying in this beautiful cabin home! Thanks for all the help and everything you allowed for our family to enjoy Lisa!

Kevin's place was perfect in every way! The Homestead cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!

this stay was great! the hosts were welcoming and responsive. everything was just like I thought it would be. super private, clean, comfortable. it's a new place, so nice and clean, does not have the feel of a lived in family cabin. it has everything we needed and more, and would have been plenty comfortable for more than us two as well

We had such a great stay here! The area was beautiful, especially with all the fall colors, and it was very fun to climb the firetower a few times during our stay. Such a unique and authentic experience since the tower was left as it was when it was staffed. It was really nice that the place is dog-friendly, as our dog really enjoyed walking around the area. The cabin itself was also very clean and cozy, and there was some unique reading material (local to the area) and a fun firetower game inside. The host was also extremely proactive and responsive with reaching out. We had no issues getting into the cabin/tower thanks to his instructions, and it was clear he wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back again!

Staying at Kevin’s cabin was truly the cherry on top of my incredible trip to Iron River. Gorgeous views, plenty of parking for truck and sled dog trailer, adjacent to what is now one of my favorite restaurants, and very helpful host. I would hope to stay here again next winter!

Enjoyed our 3 night stay with my kids and pups-accommodations were great! Small, simple and quiet. Beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. Access to snowmobile trail is about 14 minutes away via riding through county land at the end of the road (Garmin helped). Make sure to dine at The Cranberry-the food is delicious and Lacey owns it. Nice hiking/walking trails in Port Wing.
