Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. It's small - intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. It is only 90 min north of Minneapolis and 50 min south of Duluth located on Sturgeon Island on Sturgeon Lake. Fish right from the dock, Kayak & paddle board, or bring your own boat! This modern cabin is located on 390 feet of the beautiful Kettle River. The river is well known for its great tubing, canoeing and kayaking. There is a gas fireplace, hot tub and WiFi. The newer hot tub can seat 6. Large expansive deck with seating. Bon-fire pit and a large gas grill. The cabin is updated and very comfortable. Linens are Pottery Barn and Kitchen Aid appliances! Washer and dryer. Seven acres of woods with deer and bird feeders for the wildlife. This cabin is amazing!!

A perfect home base for exploring the Apostle islands, Bayfield and Madeline Island.

Off Grid cabin, Cozy, Summer Retreat by a stream.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.

Brule River Cabin -Boxcar Hole

****New gazebo on the River*** Brule River Cabin is a two-bedroom plus a loft located right on the famous Brule River. It’s also located on the Box Car Hole, an excellent fishing spot. Canoes are available from Brule River Cabin Rental. The cabin is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and groups of up to 8 people. The cabin features high-speed internet, a washer and dryer, and central heat and AC.
