Gordon and Merillyn were wonderful hosts! Five stars no notes for this beautiful property. Gordon and Merillyn left detailed instructions for our arrival to Kalimna and carefully considered recommendations for our stay. They had prepared freshly baked bread, fresh fruit and provided chocolate for our Easter enjoyment. We also had many bird varieties visit the rainforest-esque back garden. Could not have asked for a better location for our Easter getaway - would recommend to all!!

Such a great holiday location for a family get away, including a 3 year old and a couple of dogs. Lovely, quiet location filled with beautiful birds in the backyard. Clear skies for star gazing at night. Close to the beach. House is really well stocked with everyone you could need, and relaxing out on the back deck was delightful.

This is a very special house. The view from the balcony, spa and dining area is magnificent. It’s better than we had imagined it, absolutely magic. The house is spacious and comfortable, perfect for two families. We would love to stay again.

We only had 1 night at this B&B (last night). Ling met us on arrival with an umbrella because it was absolutely pouring rain. Everything was nicely presented and once we turned the heating on we were nice and cosy and warm. Everything in the way of amenities was supplied. The continental breakfast was sufficient with lots of choices of cereal, toast and fruit and everything is dairy free so we enjoyed our first Oat Milk Cappuccino and really enjoyed it. We couldn't have picked a better place to spend a long weekend away from city. We really enjoyed the serenity and beauty of the place. The house is comfortable and clean, and very quiet for a good night sleep. We'll definitely recommend staying at Bernardine's place.

My partner and I booked this place last minute and had a wonderful stay in Loch Sport. The place was very homely and clean. We’re already missing the double bed - it’s so comfy! Thank you Emma ☺️

I stayed for two nights with my husband & two adult daughters. There was plenty of room for all of us & the house was described accurately - it is a loved family holiday home. Beds were super comfy with nice linen. Best bit, house is located on the koala trail, & we saw 3 koalas in the street alone! Saw lots of wildlife on the island - 14 koalas in total, plenty of bird life, kangaroos & even a black snake (other end of the island). I also recommend checking out the Mitchell River natural silt jetties when in the area. Great escape to wind down & experience nature.

My family had a wonderful stay here. It was cosy, comfortable and had that feeling of home away from home. The home was very clean, had everything you could need in the amenities and I would 100% recommend. The host is very responsive and gave us ideas of local events. My family and I will be back ☺️

Chris was a great communicator & very helpful with questions we had before we arrived. The house is easy to find & check-in was a breeze. It had all the things we needed to make ourselves at home including a well laid-out kitchen area, utensils & some pantry essentials, a washing machine (no dryer but clothes lines on the back verandah) & even DVDs for a 5yo while dinner was made. There is also a BBQ which I didn't see mentioned in the amenities which was used on a couple of nights. Golden Beach was pretty quiet altho there were a few people at the beaches. They aren't really good for swimming out due to rips & quick drop-offs but nice for some time on the sand, paddling in the shallows or surfing. The town general store makes great old-style takeaway fish & chips, burgers, etc. & has very reasonably priced alcohol, food & household items. We thoroughly recommend it as a nice quiet place to get away to. Note: Reception on 4G phones was patchy & some days only the 5G phone worked.

We had a great stay, so peaceful and homely. Lovely cottage with a fire in the living room, big back yard for the dog and nice walks on the property and surrounding area. Couldn't recommend Robyn's place enough

We were only able to stay one night but really enjoyed our time there. The flat is the perfect size for a small family and was very clean. We would definitely stay again if we come back.

Had a wonderful stay in the cutiest little cabin. Was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great water pressure and double blinds (block out and privacy) which is always appreciated. Karen was a wonderful host and was very helpful and accommodating when I realised I had left my ear rings on the night stand after check out time. Thank you very much for our stay.
