Vacation rentals with beach access in East Ayrshire Council

We absolutely loved our stay. Everything was beautiful and perfect. You cannot beat the sunset views of Arran. We have family in the area and Arthur’s place will be where we want to stay every time we come to visit the area. Side note, the pub/restaurant was really good!!

I booked Victoria’s place for two nights for myself, best man & groomsmen as I was getting married at the Brig O’Doon. Victoria’s place was ideal and very well situated. It is only a ten minute walk from the Brig and had an iron, ironing board etc. very useful for pressing the night before 😂 Parking is ample for 2 cars or more & it was really easy to check in. Beds were comfortable & the outside spaces are pleasant - would stay there again.

The flat is immaculately clean and tidy. No unnecessary clutter. Fresh fruit, flower, milk and prosecco were great touches. Access and parking is easy. The area is a regenerated dick area - hence 4 stars for location but views acrois the river Ayr and watching the tides are great. It is quiet and undisturbed and you can walk to some restaurants nearby. i would have booked again but there was no availability sadly!

Perfect location - you can see the beach, and town is just around the corner. Ayr has the best play park we've come across.

Great stay in a lovely place. The flat was immaculate and smelled really good! The location was excellent and it was lovely and warm. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking at home but the area is equally great for eating out. Super handy for the beach and right in the town centre. The only thing I would say is that as I'm pregnant, the bed was a wee bit snug and the lock on the door could be more secure. Make sure to plan ahead as parking is limited to 2 hours free. We managed to book a space on Just Park so we didn't need to keep moving the car, but Grant also did offer to let us park at his home. Really lovely place to stay, looks better than the pictures, we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Overall I had a good month stay here. Some notes: +Tesco close by +Right next to bus lines and train station +Ayr is about 15-20 minutes away Note that the owner doesn’t live here and there rooms in total are rented. I had 5 guest come in and out when I was there. Great location for trips out in Ayrshire, grocery is close, but Ayr isn’t the most exciting place in the world! Worth the stay.

Linda is a wonderful host and has a lovely home. I immediately felt right at home. It is super close to the pubs, restaurants and shops in town.

The church cottage is fairly close to the Ayr train station (10 min walk) so Glasgow is easily within reach. The very nearby Fox & Willow restaurant is excellent, as is “The Bistro” downtown. The Stagecoach bus service downtown can take you to many great places (e.g. Culzean Castle) in the area. The cottage area is very quiet.

Lovely home, just as described, perfect for what we needed, very comfortable, great location, easily accessible, central for our travels.

We had an amazing stay at the Cabin and loved the area. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a quiet private place to enjoy nature. The hot tub worked really well and meant we could be outside and watch the stars even though it was below freezing.

Fantastic house and host! Very beautiful house in a wonderful location! House had everything that we needed and more! Very comfortable clean beds and pillows! Lovely sitting area in garden great sun trap! Six of us stayed for long weekend and we all would highly recommend this house, great value for money. Host answered very quickly any question that I had and recommended a beautiful restaurant close by for dinner . Walkable to shops and restaurants, will definitely return!

Big thanks to Dion, a great apartment very spacious and great location for walking into Prestwick and surrounding areas. Loads of space in the living room and bedrooms and nice big TV and sound system available in the living room. Kitchen had all the pots and pans needed to make a meal and was perfect for a weeks stay on the West Coast. Very clean and tidy, plenty of parking available and exactly as advertised on Airbnb.

The property had everything we needed and more. Tracy has thought of everything. We were grateful for the welcome pack which included a lovely bottle of wine and tea, coffee, toiletries etc were provided. The beds were comfy and the apartment and was warm, cosy, modern and clean - exactly as described. Tracy is a great host and provided clear instructions for our stay.

Great stay at a central location. a walk away from the centre of Ayr
