Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ehrwald

We had a lovely stay at Dunja’s house in Westendorf. It’s a very peaceful village in a beautiful area, and a great base for exploring south-west Bavaria. The house is fabulous, and extremely well appointed. We felt right at home immediately, It is extremely spacious and immaculately clean. We would definitely look to stay here again if we were in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect – quiet yet central so you can reach everything quickly. We would like to highlight the friendly hosts who welcomed us warmly and were always helpful. We will be happy to come back and absolutely recommend this place!

We felt very comfortable with so much space and tranquility in the cozy house and would have endured it longer than just for a weekend there. The accommodation is well equipped and was also designed for our larger group. The interaction with Christian is super uncomplicated and he is happy to help with all questions.

Alexandra is an amazing host! She is absolutely friendly and flexible. She gave us great local recommendations and met us with juice, wine and sweets - was a nice surprise. The place has a great location. The bus stop is just nearby. It takes about 5-7 min to go up the hill to the slopes. There is a local shop nearby with all you need. The house is amazing, big, well equipped, is a great fit for three families, two tables are good to have for a big group. There are several sleds in the basement- you don’t need to take yours - save the space in the car.

Our whole family loved it, the countryside is especially beautiful, with cows🐑, sheep, the whole grass green oil, and the snowy mountains in the distance, which can't be enjoyed in the city. The hostess was very welcoming and waited for us in the yard in advance. The house is big enough for us to be active, if it is winter, the wood fire is burning and feeling the rural atmosphere of Germany, it must be nice. The location is good, it is only half an hour drive from Shinchan Castle, it is very convenient to come and go, the nearby town is about 7 minutes by car, there is an Aldi supermarket and gas station, it is also very convenient to need supplies, the key is that the town building is also beautiful and very clean.

We were lucky to get this place at quite short notice as we spontaneously agreed to go on a trip. 2 adults and 2 children were there. The place offers more than enough space to accommodate everyone. Theoretically, there would have been room for another person. The village where the place is located is very nice. Everything is within walking distance. The Lech that flows there invites you to take long walks. Beautiful area there. All other attractions are super easy and quick to reach by car. Even the initial doubts that there is no TV in the accommodation (the smaller participants have this) made us very nervous. But at no time was that missed. All in all, we are very glad to have had a place to stay from Micha. Who, by the way, is super nice and always available should there be any questions. I/We can only recommend it

Beautiful view from one of the terraces and a wonderful house for a family stay 😍 We were on the winter vacation with four adults with three children plus 🐶 dog and the house is perfect for such a trip. Heidi is great with regard to the instructions and everything was there to guarantee a nice holiday. Thanks again for this. 👍

Thomas’s place was amazing!! Everything was very new, clean, and the views were stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed to do some cooking, the fireplace was lovely, the decks (there are 2!) were amazing to relax on and even have dinner as there was a new grill, table, and full sets dining ware for eating outside to enjoy the beautiful view. Only hard part was finding the place as you need to go up the steep road listed on the address and take a left that is not marked (and feels like you’re driving off the side of the road the first time). I will go back and hopefully bring more guests as Thomas finishes another sleeping room!

We were more than satisfied with the overall package. Especially for families or like us families with dogs perfect, the quiet location right on the edge of the forest was ideal for us and then the completely fenced terrace, just perfect.

I can only recommend the apartment as a starting point for hikes and a relaxing summer vacation in the mountains. The apartment is quiet and yet the village shop (fresh rolls) is central and can be reached in 2 minutes, there is also a nice ice cream shop. The apartment corresponds to the description and is really well equipped for 5 people. Contact with Julian is also excellent. I'd love to come back.

What a lovely gem, located on the winding river path in Oberammergau. We felt right at home and the family was very hospitable. Beautiful home with updated features and awesome fenced in backyard for your pets. Peaceful, quiet stay and very walkable into the center of town. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice new apartment in a quiet place with an elevator and an underground parking. Beautiful view of the mountains and the big ski jump. Everything was fine, except: - no AC in the top floor, hot during the day, - some windows did not have sun shades or curtains, - low ceiling, - noise from occasional helicopters that were flying too low and too often.

Very nice apartment 5 minutes from the cross-country ski slopes, 2 minutes from the grocery store and in the heart of Seefeld village to enjoy restaurants and shops. It's all about walking. We could communicate easily with the host and the place was very clean and well-equipped. Perfect for a stay with friends or family. I recommend it!

We stayed at Claudia's place for 6 days and it was a pleasure, she or her husband were always available if we needed anything and we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Perfectly located to enjoy the Tyrol area. We will be back here!

We had a wonderful stay at Katja's home! The apartment is very spacious and open. We enjoyed all of the storage areas available for our luggage and clothing. The windows and skylights allow great natural light and air flow. The location is amazing- the perfect spot between Garmisch and Partenkirchen made it easy to meet our friends in either area. The apartment is right near the train station, bus lines and easy to walk.

We had a stay with 4 adults and 3 children. The house was very large with spacious rooms and plenty of parking. All the amenities were available and it was really clean. The only downside… the same period has already been booked next year.

The house is very nice, big and modern. We felt very comfortable. What you should know is the room upstairs is open. The room downstairs has a large glass door that also doesn't really close, large columns on the right and left of the door. So if someone snores upstairs you can hear it downstairs, especially if you hear as well as I do and is sensitive. Thus, the 2 rooms only brought us something to a limited extent. Otherwise, everything is great!

We stayed there for a few days and felt very comfortable. The apartment is very nice and in great condition, especially the fireplace was a highlight. We also liked the kitchen, super equipped and cozy. We had a good time and would be happy to come back!

We stayed here with our family of 12 people ages 5-82 and had an absolutely wonderful time. The house is beautiful and the town of Garmisch is fantastic. Tons to do, absolutely stunning location, easily walkable to a million things. We hope to be back.

Highly recommended ! I haven't seen such a beautiful and clean villa in a long time The location is perfect and the best is the view from the bedrooms to the mountains. Everything was as described and even in real life it all looks much better than in the picture. We spent an out of ordinary weekend and we will definitely be back.

My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nicholas’s house. The countryside is beautiful and there are totally stunning views of the mountains from the back of the house. We also enjoyed the pool and sauna very much, and my nephew enjoyed saying hello to the chickens. The bedrooms were generously sized and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine room was essential and very welcome for our family after muddy walks. It was great how close a few walking trails were to the lake and across the moor, and the town is walkable too, with a good selection of a few local shops and larger supermarket for groceries. Even on the rainy days, the house was a very peaceful place to spend time and the large smart tv and games cupboard was a blessing for adults and toddler alike. Special thanks to the caretakers who helped make our stay especially comfortable with thoughtful recommendations and guidance when we needed it about the house.

We spent the long Easter weekend at Daniel's place. Since we traveled with a big troupe, the house was perfect. Our two dogs also felt right at home. We have made beautiful excursions to Landsberg am Lech, Lake Forggen and a little further from here. Daniel was a wonderful host. Super responsive, quick to respond to questions, and incredibly accommodating and understanding. We sincerely thank you for a lovely stay!

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Villa Ludwig. The private villa is an entire private residence which is both luxurious and historic. The staff are lovely and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They ensured that all our needs were met, were very responsive, and took the time to answer questions and make helpful recommendations. Fresh breads with butter, honey, and jams were delivered to the Villa each morning, and they even included gluten free options. The property is at the base of the Neuschwanstein Castle, so the location is very close to both castles in Schwangau. It is also close to local restaurants and stores. We would highly recommend staying at Hotel Villa Ludwig and plan to stay here again. Thank you to Jessica and her colleagues for making our vacation special and for being so gracious and hospitable.
