Monthly Rentals in Embres-et-Castelmaure

Eric and his partner have lovingly restored and built this property set around the ruins of a 12 Century castle. It is astonishingly beautiful. On the roof terrace there is also a small shared pool. We were here out of season, but it was a lovely hot day, so Eric got up early in the morning to open and clean the pool for us. The inside is equally charming and the nights were super cold, but the heating works extremely well. Eric is an artist and also showed us his atelier- really beautiful paintings. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It is authentic with beautiful surroundings and the nicest possible host. I will recommend this to all my friends and would like to return for an extended stay.

This accommodation is impeccable, it has all the necessities for an enjoyable stay! Lola is very welcoming and responsive! We had a lovely time! I recommend it. ☺️

We had a great time in Antoine's charming little house in the heart of the Corbières and not far from the sea. At the start of many hiking trails and a few steps from the friendly cooperative, we feasted on the sometimes lunar Mediterranean landscapes and warmed up by the fire after exhilarating days. Kids loved their mezzanine room and adults enjoyed the library and music.

Rachel's place is beautiful, tastefully decorated. Everything is available and nothing is missing! The 2 very nice terraces (little extra for the roof terrace with views of the mountains!). Rachel welcomed us warmly by letting us know everything we could do in the area (hikes, museum etc...). We had a great time in Avignon. We recommend eyes closed and will surely come back!!
