Chalet Bärenegg: a small pearl on Lake Thun

Chalet Bärenegg is wonderfully embedded in the landscape of the Bernese lakes and mountains. Inside it is small with little storage space, but it has pretty niches to linger outside: two seats with a grill, outdoor sauna and for the little ones a lawn, sandbox and slide. The former stable was converted into a charming home a good 30 years ago and renovated and newly furnished a few months ago with a lot of love for detail. The beautiful wood paneling gives the house a homely charm. A small paradise where you can relax and unwind. Far away from the hustle and bustle and yet very central.

Glamping Naturlodge Gadestatt incl. Breakfast

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. From here the cows were guarded and cheese was made from fresh milk. Gadestatt offers you an authentic overnight accommodation with lots of charm and attention to detail. Our vacation home (Chalet Sagentobel) is old, but very cozy! The rushing stream and the infinite silence when it snows are truly special experiences in the chalet.
