Stables, 1 Bed, Private, Ecolodge, Edge Dartmoor

SimonRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Had a lovely couple of nights at Richard's place. We ended up staying in a different lodge called the rabbits but the area is beautiful, and there is lots of space between lodges so you are private. the lodges are beautifully designed and fantastic to stay in. If there was a downside, it would be the main road outside but once you are in the lodge, you can't hear much and it's it's pretty quiet at night. Would happily stay here again

Dingle Dell Annexe - As seen on Grand Designs!

AlanRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A very unusual place and we had a great weekend there. Location lost a star because of a very poorly maintained access road. Hot water is from a wood-burner and Kevin offered to look after the fire for us. Very comfortable bedrooms, one reached by a wooden spiral staircase. It is stressed that this house isn’t suitable for small children.

Hobbit Annex @ Bryn Elltyd Eco House

CameronRating, 5 stars7 months ago
No photos, reviews or descriptions could do this place enough justice. A truly magical spot - nestled in the mountains with awe-inspiring views. The room was comfortable, clean and cozy. The shower was lovely and hot. John was a wonderful host. He gave us lots of recommendations and great conversation. If you're interested in learning about renewable energy, John is the person to speak to! We had such a brilliant holiday and already can't wait to come back. Thank you John and Celia!

Breaday Gill luxury eco bolthole

MeganRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Breaday Gill Cottage, the location is beautifully rural yet only 10 mins from Scarborough! The cottage was pristine with luxurious underfloor heating, couldn’t fault a thing. We also found it was great with both a toddler and a dog, as everything was on one level with open plan living space and an outdoor area too. We even had perfect weather for March. Lorna was an excellent host, we highly recommend this Air BnB and would love to stay again in the future. Thanks!

The Old Chapel

LucyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We've had a lovely time staying in this beautiful Old Chapel with our two small children. The open plan style worked well for us all and the boys slept in the family bedroom which can be easily shut off from noise in the rest of the house with the door shut..... Just as hazel had described. I would have loved to have a washing machine, but we managed with hand washing and we were prepared for this as it was also clear from Hazel.

Lovely peaceful, relaxing and quiet stay at The Roundhouse that made us feel like real Hobbits! The shower was a fun experience, but not as fun as the ropeswing!

The Dairy, near Launceston

SharonRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Our stay at The Dairy was perfect. The accommodation was peaceful and a great base for our trip. The lounge was a lovely light, sociable space for us all to chill in. The log burner was fab. There was plenty of room for the four of us in The Dairy and at no time did we feel cramped for space. The garden was ideal for our two labs and well fenced so no concerns about possible escapees!! The outside seating area was great for an afternoon sit and a drink. The pub just up the road (The Springer) looked lovely but I would recommend booking if you want to eat there as we didn’t book and then couldn’t get a table….. We would definitely stay again 😎

Viking Longhouse / Underground Hobbit Tiny house

ToobaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed at their hobbit house style cabin for 2 nights and felt right at home. The place was clean, the beds where comfortable and there is a lot to explore within the farm and sounding area. It was very handy to have the farm shop, selling a good variety of necessities, close by. It was just great. Recommended, recommended, recommended ♥️

The hobbit house - unique, quirky and cosy.

ErinRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Well what can I say. I didn’t want to leave for starters. Sue’s place was up in my top 5 of places to stay. Quirky, peaceful, cute and cosy. To top it off dog friendly. Sadly one of my dogs had been told by the vet a day before we left that he needs 4 weeks bed rest so he couldn’t come out with us or our other pup during the day. Sue accommodated him staying at the hobbit house and actually looked after him for a day. Now that’s service and kindness. I definitely want to go back as it’s exactly what we were looking for to escape our hectic lives and jobs. Thank you Sue xx

450 year old vaulted garden rooms - romantic suite

marieRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What a quirky and amazing place to spend a few days in. We felt we had stepped back in time in terms of the peace , tranquility, abundance of wildlife (mainly birds) surrounding us. Yet had all modern conveniences to hand in the wine cellar. Somewhere I would consider sraying again.

RiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a lovely place to stay. We were 2 couples and a dog and we all had a relaxing time at the house which has everything you need to cook and relax together. It’s a very peaceful place, I am a very light sleeper and I slept so well here! The beds were extremely comfy and cosy. The sauna and jacuzzi were perfect both times we used it we had it to ourselves which felt very special. Highly recommend it.

Pheasant's Roost

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at Pheasant’s Roost! The view is beautiful and the house is very private - sitting in the hot tub on a sunny day was glorious :) It is surprisingly spacious inside with a well provisioned kitchen. Communication was very responsive and Hannah met us on arrival to explain how everything worked.

Anslow Shires

HayleyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful stay at the Hobbit House - usually when we stay away the kids want to go home after one night - this time they didn't want to leave! and nor did we! The Hobbit House was very well equipped, beautiful decor and cosy. Set in peaceful surroundings with lovely views - including the two sheep Dusk and Dawn - one evening we were even treated to the sight of a fox walking by. Katherine was very friendly and provided really helpful information prior to our arrival and during our stay. Lovely touch to have some coffee, tea, milk and biscuits on our arrival. Would love to return in the future. Thank you :)

Luxury Earth-Covered Pod (2 Bed)

ZoeRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Beautiful accommodation. Stunning views. High-end products used throughout. Lovely touches like bathrobes, slippers and dry robes. Was definitely luxury. Well appointed kitchen. We ate in as you would need to drive if you went out. We liked that though because we made good use of the facilities and hot tub. Would highly recommend.
