Tipi Next To River Wye

AshleyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a lovely stay at the glamping site. There were only two sets of guests during our midweek stay and we were one of the families so it was very peaceful and relaxing on site. All the amenities were spotless and the site has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Worth mentioning that the kitchen facility is communal (not private as we originally thought) but guests are able to take portable camping stove and equipment to their own tipee if you prefer more privacy. There are so many thoughtful gestures such as toys/ books/ games for the kids and even dog toys provided along with outdoor amenities that are listed to keep the kids entertained! We took our 5year old twin boys who did not want to leave and just loved their glamping adventure. A big shout out to Jo (the onsite manager) who kept the place spotless and checked in with guests regularly to ensure a comfortable stay. Jo also gives great advice on the best places to visit during your stay…..a mammoth thank you Jo!! :-)

The Firs Campsite - Croome Safari Tent

SandraRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We were completely blown away by this place. Everything has been so carefully thought out that we were left wanting for nothing. The Linen pack was worth every penny and of excellent quality. The beds were comfortable and heated mattresses a great addition for a chilly camping night. Simon was very pleasant and attentive and very responsive to messages. Our grandchildren aged 7 and 5 loved the adventure of the ‘hidden’ bed and the play area underneath was perfect for them. Would thoroughly recommend this property without any hesitation.

Bell Tent in secluded woodland, Fire Pit, Glamping

ChantelleRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a lovely stay at the end of the season and it was perfect for cosying up around the fire with hot drinks and blankets. It was peaceful and secluded for us adults and fun and enjoyable for the children too. There’s something for everyone and we can’t wait to be back again.

Daisy Bell Tent Glamping in Wild Flower Meadow

MaliRating, 5 stars8 months ago
I can't get over how beautiful the location is. You can see how hard Suzi and the family work as the location is spotless and everything is well thought of. Suzi thought of everything to the extent we turned up and didn't need anything and if you do need anything, you just need to ask. We stayed in the bell tent which has a fire area with seating and an under cover n bench and cooking area making it suitable what ever the weather, along with a BBQ. I also loved that the bell tent we stayed in was private and at the end of the meadow. Logs and firelighters were supplied for your fire along with a welcome hamper. The home made lemon drizzle cake was devoured in one sitting by our family. We had home made pizza's on the Friday which was hands on and the pizzas were delicious and a great addition, as it takes off pressure of cooking on arrival. Also, Suzi's boys sell sweeties and they went down a treat by the fire when the kids were asleep!

Snowdon View

AndrewRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I booked the tipi for a two nights stay and to race my bike in a local off road event, unfortunately it was during the worst weather we’ve seen for a long time. I’d have thought a tent would be the worst place to stay during such storms but it was like a home from home, warm, dry & cosy. The tipi was equipped with everything you could want, and a clean shower/toilet room was just a short walk away. The double bed had the most comfortable mattress giving me the best sleep ever, and with plenty of room to move around the tipi, which was great as I couldn’t go outside due to the terrible weather. The only time I experienced the weather during my stay at Mary’s was during the 70 mile gravel race I competed in 😊

Howgills Hideaway Bell Tent

JessicaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Once again Howgills hideaway has not failed to amaze. This is our happy place, where we reset and forget about the hussle and bussle of life for a minute. Back to nature, with the fields for the children to run until their hearts are content. While us adult sit back with a brew in hand, while pondering out upon the breathtaking views with nothing but the sound of nature and giggles of children making new friends away from technologies. There are beautiful walks for the family and pooches to take in the magnificent surroundings of rolling hills. When evening falls and its time to get cozy! The fire gets lit and the darkness creeps in. Make sure you look up at the sky ( hoping you have a clear night) the stars will take your breath away. The accommodation is perfect everytime. Always clean, bed are comfy, wash facilities are amazing, they even have a shower for the dogs if they get a bit mucky on their adventures. I could go on forever but the conclusion is we love this place so much❤

Luxury heated Safari tent with 2 bedrooms

Ronni-LouiseRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a 2 night stay & it was relaxing in a Beautiful safari tent. Clean & very presentable with lovely rustic decor. Charming little touches… acrylic paints to paint pebbles. Incense sticks to sage. Cosy blankets to snuggle by the fire pit. Puzzles, books and a drum to play. Lovely greeting of marshmallows, cappuccino, muffins and firewood. Super comfy beds with fields of gold Surrounding. Yogis will love it. Peaceful surroundings, toilets and shower facilities clean and nearby. Paddle board also provided which we enjoyed by the nearby river. Clear shallow waters with lots of fish. Walked down by the river to the pub, this public footpath is very overgrown and so we succumbed to lots of stings from nettles and it’s super close to the edge of the river, so not ideal for unsteady walkers or young children. Unless you want a swim on your walk. We walked the main road back as it was dark. Pub was a little disappointing. We all loved our little break (me, two teenage sons & dog)

Fell View Tipi

AlexandraRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Peaceful and cozy getaway, set in the most beautiful country garden. Becki gave us such a warm welcome, we instantly felt at home. You have lots of privacy, but the hosts are just a message away when you need some help. I definitely recommend planning some nights in to BBQ and have fires. Please go here, it is gorgeous. It is like a big warm hug!

Raspberry: Canvas Air Dome, Looe

AndrewRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a great time. The bell tent and kitchen facilities were perfect for us to have a relaxing and peaceful break. The tent was in a quiet and private spot in the site and overlooked a valley with an abundance of wildlife. The location was great and a short easy drive to Looe to explore.

Beautiful Bell tent with a stunning view.

GwenRating, 5 stars8 months ago
George and Holly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable for the entire party, setting us up a whole different tent with more ventilation to ensure our dog didn't overheat! They offered suggestions of local places to visit, and checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The tent itself is beautifully set out, with everything you need for a glamping experience! Overall, a very comfortable and peaceful weekend, we'll certainly be back!

Rebel Farmer Tipi - Exclusive hire campsite

KateRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Such a beautiful spot, and truly camping made easy (which suited us well!). So nice to have the space to ourselves, and our daughters loved the tour with Ed. Comfy beds, warm duvets, non-smelly toilet, and a kitchen with everything you’d need. We’ll be back for sure.

Relaxing Bell Tent with Log Burner

GlynRating, 5 stars7 months ago
First time "glamping". Great all round, beautiful tent, and first class kitchen addition. Location wise was perfect , a simple 15 minute drive to Tenby beach, and only 5 minutes from Manor Wildlife park and A Dinosaur park . the land where tent was pitched was perfect, other campers but no one on top of each other. Nightimes were beautiful. A nice little fire pit burning away under the stars, and there were so so many stars, and even lucky enough to see shooting stars. The best compliment I can give to the place is that my daughter's aged 9 & 7 who didn't want to go camping asked if we could come back again next summer. You will have no objections from me.
