Monthly Rentals in Eshaness

The place is extremely peaceful and relaxing. The house is in a stunning spot in Hillswick—a charming little town with scenic walks around the peninsula and a lovely sandy beach. It’s literally right by the sea and just a short (less than 5-minute) walk from the Hillswick shop, where you can pick up all the essentials. The hosts are incredibly kind and responsive, making the stay even more enjoyable. A perfect place to relax and visit Shetland.

Southouse is a lovely old croft in beautiful surroundings. The property is very quaint. A little cold for me but fine for everyone else in the party (fire could not be used which would have been cosy). Loft area was toasty but you’re not in with the everyone up there. Best to take your own hairdryer if you need one. Seating for 4 in sitting room. But plenty other chairs if there are more of you. TV was intermittent but not an issue for us. Plenty games and books provided. Location is stunning.

Staying at Fiona's was an amazing experience. So quiet, with beautiful views, so relaxing and has everything you need inside. A lot of books to educate ourselves about Shetland, a lot of interesting cooking books with focus on local cuisine. They have renovated the cottage elegantly keeping the nice wooden characteristics. We loved it. I totally recommend it to stay there more than a couple of days to relax.

Lovely cottage very cosy and comfortable. Fab views from the door, we had everything we needed lovely hosts. Would love to visit again.
