“We can’t say enough about our stay at chris and Jenna’s house in Asheville. It was our first time using Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations and more! The house was immaculate and we can tell the hosts pride themselves on attention to detail. Right from the start, We had delicious coffee set up for the next day with freshly ground beans. The kitchen was well stocked with spices. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds were so comfortable. Loved having a washing machine and dryer. We loved the 2 decks and the beautiful views. Not to mention the proximity to downtown Asheville, French Broad River for tubing and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Chris and Jenna didn’t leave any stone unturned. Just bring your clothes and this house has everything you need. This rated as one of our top vacations! my only disappointment was that we didn’t stay longer and get to use the fire pit for S’mores and grill. I can’t wait to stay again.”
Walk back past tall trees, over a small wooden bridge with built-in love seats. Massage tired feet on a polished river-rock shower floor. This rustic 2-story cottage, dating back over 100 years, has whitewashed stone walls and a wood-burning stove.
“This place is delightful for anyone wanting to hop right on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The Biltmore is no more than a 10 minute drive away & there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The classic look had me concerned about creature comforts, but for a solo traveler I had everything I needed + fast internet for work. I fully intend to stay here again if I'm ever in the area.”
Built in 2010, Waterfall Cottage provides a romantic, comfortable, rustic retreat space in the woods perched just above a magical flowing mountain stream. Drive only 15 minutes into Asheville, 7 to 10 minutes from hiking, restaurants, and grocery shopping.
“Great place. Had no trouble checking in. The host Liz and her husband are wonderful hosts. Liz shared directions to the place beforehand so it was easy to find. The cottage was clean, well furnished and the location - near the woods was perfect, the sounds of the stream was calming. We had some trouble with WiFi on our first day which the host took care of immediately by getting new router that solved that issue. My wife and i also had a wonderful time talking to Liz for hours that night. The cats said hi too. The place is close to Asheville about 15 min. Highly recommend.”
