Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. Inside consists of 350 square feet of comfortable living space including a rain shower, king sized bed, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is another 500 square feet of living space with a deck, outdoor soaking bathtub, and patio with a fire pit and propane grill.

The unique, art filled, hand built wooden house, opens to the fence enclosed decks with sunken koi ponds. Relax outside in the sun, or under the roof for shade, make a fire in the fire pit, on your private fenced in deck. The walkway to the house has uneven stone steps, if walking is a challenge Easy access to downtown Asheville as well as stores and restaurants minutes from the house in rural Fairview where the house is located. The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!

No chores just enjoy this peaceful pasture, soak in the hot tub and feel a million miles away while only being 4 Miles to trail heads in Bent Creek, 2 miles to the Bent Creek river park and access (you can borrow my Kayaks or tubes) and 2 miles to the Blue Ridge parkway and Arboretum. 10 Miles to downtown Asheville. great location for hikes and mountain biking. This is a tiny house on a sheep farm. Early or late check in/out might be available on request.
