Secret Garden Cottage

Good Holidays are all about location, Secret Garden Cottage in Wales offers luxury accommodation in a perfect country setting. On the doorstep is a two-acre secret walled garden, private river walks, and only a short drive to the Cardigan Bay coastline with its beautiful beaches and villages. The country cottage is restored to a very high-quality standard complete with underfloor heating, two king size bedrooms, two living rooms, log burner for cosy evenings and a large farmhouse style kitchen.

Traditional Coastal Self-Catering Farmhouse

Ffyllon Fawr is a south facing farmhouse built approx 1890 and has been sympathetically renovated and modernised recently. The farmhouse is in an elevated position and overlooks the farmyard and the beautiful open countryside. To one side is a level patio area with a picnic table/bench leading onto a sloping lawn area. (N.B Bedrooms not requested and booked for are secured allowing us to offer a reduced booking cost for a smaller number of guests. The farmhouse is not shared with other guests.)

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. Along with the spectacular sea views guests can enjoy relaxing on their private balcony whilst watching the dolphins play. Why not fire up the bbq provided for al fresco dining! With only a 5 minute stroll to the harbour and beaches guests can enjoy a variety of activities including wildlife boat tours, watersports and lovely reastaurants and pubs.

Studio accommodation part of a detached garage in private location with views over village and locality. Accommodation benefits from a compact fully equipped kitchen with an en-suite bedroom. Enjoy wifi access, television, and free tea and coffee. This is a loft space so head height restricted in certain places. Very tall prospective guests please take this into consideration before booking. Car parking, and access to pool table, and table tennis table.

Aberaeron Cottage 10min Riverside Walk to Harbour

No2 Dolheulog is a newly refurbished characterful 1700’s stone built cottage. A 10 minute riverside walk to Harbour Town, Aberaeron. A short walk from local restaurants, bakery, post office, butchery and a drink or ice cream on the harbourside! This small cottage holds a open plan kitchen and lounge, gas fire and outside sitting area perfect for a relaxing trip away. A kind note, no pets allowed.

Welcome to our lovely character filled cottage ‘Y Bwthyn’ situated between New Quay and Aberaeron. It provides an ideal base to explore beautiful Cardigan Bay and the Ceredigion beaches. We’re less than a mile from Cei Bach and Traeth Gwyn beaches and half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path so it truly is a walker’s paradise. You can even walk along the beach to New Quay at low tide.
