Waterfront vacation rentals in Flekkefjord

Rune's guest house is in the middle of the Forsand marina and is surrounded by water on 3 sides. Our apartment on the first floor was very spacious and offered a unique view of the fjord - directly from the chair. Our son liked the sleeping place under the roof. Overall, nothing was left to be desired. Rune was always available in the supermarket opposite and gave us tips for hiking in the Lysefjord. Forsand is very suitable as a starting point for tours. The Preikestolen parking lot is 20 minutes away and with the (6:00 AM) ferry or a rented boat you can get to Flørli and Lysebotn, for example.

A warm and fun little place in the middle of the city. Will definitely look it up next time I’m in town.

This was one of the best places I stayed in. The house is in the old neighbourhood and right by the sea. In themorning, you are greeted by the biggest cruise ships ever and in the evning you get a great view of the sea and city. The host Daniel was a very friendly person who was very responsive a gave great suggestions about the city. All in all, it was a great stay. Recommended.

Very nice apartment right on the harbor, free parking in the immediate vicinity, terrace with evening sun and nice view of the water. We recommend this place.

Our family of five spent a good night here on the way to the ferry. Everything was clean and the apartment is very comfortably furnished. We slept well. It wasn't easy to find in the dark, but the photos in the description were good to help. We would have liked to see it in the light and enjoyed the snow, but the ferry went very early at the Morgrn. Thank you for letting us stay.

Maren's place is quite like described in the pictures. Walking distance to shops, port and city centre. Clean rooms and fully stocked kitchen, which was quite useful. Felt that the bedroom didn't have heating like the rest of the place, but was well insulated and got quite cosy and warm once slept in. Our bus to depart from Stavanger was late and Arvi gladly extended our check out time which was so nice of them.

Very beautiful place, very comfortable and can’t help to love it

We were two families with 6 small children who got to rent the house for one night when we were traveling to the Zoo the next day. The photos match the reality, good communication with the host. The house was clean and organized. Nice peaceful and child friendly place. We felt like we're in home.

The place is absolutely idyllic. If you want to feel like living in a botanical garden and fruit garden with own lake and boat, with unbelievable view, this is your place. Two more features that are very precious nowadays - silence and darkness. You can observe Milky Way and millions of stars from terrace. And all this in absolute silence, similar to what I experienced last time in my grandma’s timber cabin 40 years ago.

Lovingly prepared traditional Norwegian house. The bathroom is completely modern and new - with a rain shower. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with the weather and very rainy days, appreciated the cozy house and large sofa all the more for reading time. Good starting point for excursions: lighthouse, Farsund, hikes, … Good to know: For tall people, some caution is advised regarding the low door frames. Not accessible due to the door thresholds. Our dog loved the view into the large garden - and always waited for the deer to come back. We felt very comfortable. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place guests.

Had a pleasant stay at Kjetil’s place. The place is clean, within walking distance to the shopping district. Should try the bakery that is just beside the house!

I truly believe this place is unique in the world. Modern comfort and architectural prowess in the natural tranquility of Norwegian islands. Thank you Jostein for being a gracious host!

The accommodation is beautifully located, between mountains and a small bay. The accommodation is simple but equipped with everything necessary. There is enough space for up to 6 people. Especially nice to relax is the spacious wooden terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Gabriel was very nice and helpful. He provided us with wood for the small stove in the living room and offered to use bicycles and his boat. You can make many great excursions to waterfalls, fjords and mountains in the area. We loved southern Norway and will definitely travel there again.

We had a wonderful stay in Talgje! The house is perfect. It has a big kitchen, a cosy living room, comfortable beds and everything we needed. We loved the surrounding, there are so many beautiful paths on the island and a little beach nearby to have a picknick and go for a swim. We would definitely stay longer next time!

The apartment was fine for our family of three. It was close to the city center with a nice view of the water. A plus there were toys for our 5 year old son.

When we were at Haakon's, there was a lot of construction in the Strandgata and the journey seemed a little weird. We found Haakon's house but well. There was no construction noise! It was totally quiet. The view over the fjord was very nice and we really enjoyed the view from the sofa. A lot is developing in Sandnes right now. This will also enhance the location of the house even more when it is ready. Our stay was very good! We highly recommend staying here.
