Great location, easy walk to restaurants, grocery store and beach. We are looking forward to our next stay.

My family and I had a great time here. The view from the master bedroom with deck to walk out to was wonderful. I loved the media room with surround sound and a wide selection of dvds. We enjoyed the aquarium which was only a mile away. Richard did a nice job communicating and hosting. We would return.

Beautiful home and location! Was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend at the beach with our dogs. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful as well. Would definitely go back!

The view is beautiful and peaceful. My dogs loved the beach and spent a lot of time sitting at the fence staring at the ocean waves and sniffing the air. The beds were very comfortable, as were the living room furniture. We will definitely be back.

The beach location was fantastic for storm watching, beach walking and sitting in the hot tub looking out at the sea! Kids loved the game area and little den with TV. The layout of the house was perfect for our group to spread out, play games and cook for a crowd! Would definitely stay here again.

Audrey was an amazing host and even provided everything i needed ❤️ including a balloon 🎈 for my daughters first birthday.

Great location and very comfortable

My fiancé and I stayed with our little dachshund at The Hummingbird Nest, hosted by Eugenia. It was a very nice experience. Very homey feeling. It was our first time ever staying in an Airbnb, expectations were definitely met. My fiancé told me the first day we were there “I feel so comfortable!” Definitely a lot better than a hotel! We were in Coos Bay for my nieces wedding, which was on the beach, The Hummingbird Nest was about a 20 min drive to get to the actual ocean, not just to where the wedding was held, that was about 40 min drive. Either way, we are very happy with our experience and stay. Thank you, Eugenia!

Loved our stay. Cozy, peaceful, clean and inviting. If you are looking to get away to relax and enjoy peace,and quiet, this comfortable cozy cabin is perfect!

The house was in a location that was private and easy to get to town for groceries. Views from the house to the ocean were fantastic. The house itself has a lot of stairs which can be a problem for those with ambulatory challenges. Waldport is a quiet town and less touristy, which we appreciated. We loved our 8 day stay there. We also appreciated Jon's flexibility in allowing us to reschedule at the last minute due to a family situation that arose.

Enjoyed our stay in Otter Rock. The yurt was cozy and the little dog amenities were much appreciated! We found everything we could have needed during the stay within the yurt (microwave, cooking utensils and such). There was nearby a cute coffee / chocolate shop, and a mo's. As well as two beach access points! When we are back on the Oregon Coast, this is the first place we will be looking to stay!!

Our stay at was truly magical! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the thoughtful touches and cozy atmosphere that made this place feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail in the decor, the stunning views, and the peaceful surroundings made every moment unforgettable. My wife absolutely adored the decor and we both appreciated how spotless and well-maintained everything was. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a truly special getaway. It’s a destination we’ll be reminiscing about for years to come, and we can’t wait to return someday!

Perfect little place for our family of 3 and two dogs. The view was beautiful and the home felt welcoming. You can tell it’s privately owned and not part of some big vacation rental company. It was just a wonderful place to enjoy on our much needed family getaway. Will definitely come back in the future.

I have travelled all over the world, and can say that The Lodge Below the Falls is a very special place, created with love and deep appreciation for the nature surrounding it. This is a place to reconnect, to create, to rest, to explore, and to dream. The two giant waterfalls above and the pristine stream flowing by, the sauna, and the cozy and comfortable spaces around the woodstove and open kitchen/dining areas offer settings for our busy minds to unwind, and the breath of inspiration to arise. The 22-mile drive to and from town is actually perfect as it is a beautiful drive, and is just long enough to give yourself a chance to slow down and shift gears to a relaxed state of mind. It is a truly rare treat to be able to enjoy such a unique and beautiful space!

Jim's place is the perfect type of beach house for a getaway to Yachats. Great well stocked kitchen. A comfortable bed. Ample heat and a crackling fireplace for ambiance. We spent a couple of nights at Jim's with out dog and it really was a treat to be in a private setting with the ocean so close away. This place is special!

We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and the location (right on the beach!) was great. The main-floor family room gets really warm in the evening as the sun shines through the windows which don't have coverings. But we opened the windows for airflow and it was fine. the neighborhood was quiet; literally no one out. Before we left, our group was already discussing returning to the same house.

What a dream! We loved this place soooo much we especially appreciated the eco-fragrance free detergents and the fun art. Perfect place for a family bday celebration! Thank you, thank you! 🥰

Close to beach. Large house with plenty of room for a family to spread out. Dog friendly yard. (as in fenced and accessible by side door). Plenty of cookware, and a sink with a disposal which is handy.

My family and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate my moms 50th birthday. The house was huge with plenty of space for everyone, did not feel overcrowded. The only issues we had was the microwave was out of order ( didn't know this until after we arrived) made heating up food challenging. 2nd is some of the beds were too firm which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall 5 stars, the location was great, a short distance to the beach and plenty of space for everyone, would stay here again!

The place was very nice- bigger than the pictures make it look and very well stocked with linens, games, toys, and kitchen things. We had a minor issue and they offered to send someone out the same day (which we didn’t need but appreciated). The only watchout is the dune in front of the house down to the beach is much steeper than it looks, so we had to walk a few houses down for beach access with kids- not a dealbreaker but not a straight shot walkout if you were expecting that.

This place is incredible. You won't find a better spot. The backyard is sand dunes that lead to the Pacific Ocean, and, to what feels like, a private beach. This is especially perfect for one or multiple families. Six bunkbeds and lots of toys and a play area for small children. Our kids had an absolute blast! You'll love this spot, and Claudia is super responsive to any needs that may arise :)

My family stays on the Oregon coast each summer. It has been a 30 year tradition that our children, now adults, still look forward to. This home offered us everything we needed to feel relaxed during this family tradition. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. It was probably the best house we have stayed in to date!
