Vacation rentals with a firepit in Folkestone

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Tim’s place to visit family locally and it’s a fab place to stay and we’ll definitely be back again

My family and I had a great stay at Martin’s house. Martin’s neighbour let us in and was very welcoming. And it was absolutely spotless, with had thoughtful touches like extra towels for the hot-tub and milk in the fridge. We enjoyed going to the nearby Roman ruins, the beach and wildlife park. The house is not baby-proof, so you’ll have to spend some time moving delicate items if you have small children.

We had fantastic time at Egmont Farm (my family of 4 plus 2 grandparents). Sarah was extremely helpful prior to check-in supplying local recommendations and even sharing 2 short videos helping us locate entrance and instructions of hot tub (it was easy to use and lovely and warm). The accommodation was ideal and I would say bigger than the photos suggested. Beautiful surroundings and my son loved the football goal! Everything was clean and to a high standard and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. .. locally we had fantastic meal from Indian takeaway and lunch at Lime Wharf Cafe after we paddle boarded. Plenty to do a short drive away too. Fantastic weekend all round.

Sarah was an Amazing host and I couldn't have asked for a better host or a more wonderful house. Sarah's home was stunning and was so lovely to be near a wonderful big park.

Absolutely loved Barefoot Beach House! Location is fantastic, literally sitting on the sand. Home is warm and inviting, clearly loved by a family. Mark was responsive and helpful. Will definitely look to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for first rate beach stay!

We had a fantastic few days here. A 5 minute walk, through the development, across the road, over the dunes and on the beach - easy with beach stuff, a dog, 6 and 9 year olds in tow! House was clean, plenty of space and outside area was perfect for a BBQ and marshmallow toasting on the firepit. TV had sky and all the channels! Great amenities - thanks for a wonderful stay!

David’s home is even more beautiful than the pictures. David was excellent to communicate with. Home is in a very nice location, walkable to shops and the local pub as well as being alongside some lovely walking paths. We would definitely recommend!

A lovely, relaxing stay at Brian and Francesca's beautiful place. My dog absolutely loved roaming the gardens! Lots of thoughtful touches, including fresh bread, milk and butter, as well as some snacks and wine - plus a bone and towel for the dog! The whole space is filled with light and stays nice and warm in the evenings. The hot tub, of course, is a big highlight! :) Believe it or not, as non-drivers, we managed to get Ubers to and from Hastings, as well as food delivered via Deliveroo! And Brian was also incredibly kind to drive us to Battle station.

We stayed 5 nights. The room was spacious, WiFi perfect, relaxing place, dining place, the bedding was of a very good quality. When we arrived, there was fresh baked bread, eggs, butter, coffee, tea, water. Annemarie is always willing to help. Very kind family. Don’t hesitate, go for it! We enjoyed our days!

Gorgeous flat, tastefully furnished, comfortable beds, quiet, fully equipped, everything works. Did I mention the gorgeous sea views?

Très bon séjour, tout était parfait. Avons oublié de descendre nos déchets et laissé le véhicule dans l'allée au lieu de la rue alors que c'était bien stipulé dans les consignes... nous vous prions d'accepter nos excuses.

We needed somewhere to stay while finding a place to live in London. The flat was excellent and well equipped for our needs. Great place to stay.

Marsha was a fantastic host and very helpful. Design House added extra excitement to our trip and the location was perfect for a weekend by the coast. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, Marsha kindly left out a beach BBQ and a dog bed, plus additional mattresses for our children. We loved the fun interior and many quirks, highly recommended for a fun filled trip with friends or family.

Perfect for what we wanted for our stay exploring Dungeness. Clean, comfortable, compact.

Just back from a family weekend in Margate. Craig's place was the perfect base for our stay. The whole property has been finished to a super-high standard and everything was spotless. All the furnishings and equipment gave it a luxurious feel and the amenities were great with everything we needed. Although situated on the main road into town, it was nice and quiet in the flat itself. The advantage of the location was a short walk to the amusements and beach! I would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Formidable ce séjour. Logement parfaitement situé au cœur d’un quartier charmant de Boulogne sur mer au pied de la basilique. Logement fidèle à la description, charmant, propre et très bien équipé. Super rapport qualité prix. Nous reviendrons sans doute !

Great lodge, small and beautiful. Garden was massive and things to do for children. Warm inside and beds was very comfortable, such a lovely relaxing lodge. Host was amazing was available to communicate and was happy for me to have my hen ladies there. Only 1 annoying part was the dirt road leading up too gate. As u wouldnt realise to go up it.. easy to miss. BUT still 10/10.. cant wait to go back for a nice night away.

We throughly enjoyed our stay, the description given is 100% accurate. Great views, tranquility and you can be as active or inactive as you want. Great correspondence from Tom indicating local places to visit and recommending local hikes (using an app, thankfully as we were useless with the map and compass...lol!) Glad we read reviews and brought along camping chairs, which where great for sitting in front of the firepit in the evening. The cabin was lovely and warm and we had no need to use the fireplace. Surprised by how good the Shower was too, hot water and pressure was perfect. We came away feeling well rested and would highly recommend and we will definitely come back or visit other cabins in the future.

We had such an amazing stay at this beautiful, clean, well-kept location. The Den is situated within the family’s garden but with a little wall for privacy. Alison and her husband are so friendly, responsive particularly in sending us information prior to our arrival. The Deb was clean, smelt amazing and there were lots of supplies. Will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Pancake Lodge, beautiful views, immaculate lodge, hot tub was a very good quality one, outdoor dining area was unique and creatively made, all amenities needed and clear communication throughout. Kari also was kind enough to add a birthday banner for us before arrival and helped plan for a later check in putting on some lights warmth etc. Very thoughtful extra touches were appreciated. Would highly recommend and will return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin over the Easter weekend. Groombridge is a lovely, tucked away area and the cabin feels very remote and peaceful. Christopher made us feel very at home and I cannot recommend the pizza more! Perfect dough recipe. Comfortable sleeping and spacious for 7. Highly recommend ⭐️

Many thanks to our friendly approachable hosts Mary and Mick for a very enjoyable recent stay in their garden room. A home baked loaf scones and a selection of breakfast cereals very kindly provided. The accommodation in a very quiet location is ideally situated for easy access to all major roads to explore the beautiful surrounding area. Sue & Ed.

Such a great stay! The cabin was brilliant and so peaceful. Lovely sitting out by the fire pit listening to the owls when it got dark. The outdoor space was great and our daughter loved running around and enjoying the swings etc that John kindly said we could use. John couldn't do enough for us with lots of recommendations for pubs, day trips and outings. So friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Lovely cabin in a beautiful part of the world. Very helpful and attentive host. Would definitely return
