Gilly was such a kind host! Her house is beautiful (I would also argue even better than the pictures!) and I felt right at home. She also kindly offered to drive me up the hill, to start my hike to the White Cliffs of Dover from there, which I glady accepted! 10/10 would recommend staying with Gilly!!

Sue has a lovely English home and garden. She was very welcoming and made us an amazing English breakfast. She took care of every need with grace and charm!

My spouse and I had a great time at Kate's place. It was beautiful, like staying in an old country estate, just what we wanted! We were treated to breakfast and helpful tips of what to see in the area, it felt like a genuine B&B which is also what we were looking for! Thanks Kate!

A very spacious , uber clean and well maintained and cared for property. Diane is a very welcoming host . The kitchen was stocked with bread, milk and eggs. We (3 adults) had a wonderful stay and would love to stay here again.

From the moment I stepped into the house and met the host Jane, everything felt warm and welcoming. Jane is an incredibly nice and kind person. She proactively ask if I needed any help and kindly introduced places to visit nearby. She even invited me to attend her friend’s birthday dinner. Every morning, she thoughtfully prepared a healthy breakfast, including fruit salad, toast, coffee and more. Location: It was very easy to find the house by following the map from the train station. The room is located in a small alley just off the main street in the heart of Lewes, surrounded by lots of great restaurants and cafés. The weekend farmer’s market is just a one-minute walk away. I saw someone asking whether the house is warm enough — don’t worry. It can be chilly in Lewes during spring, but Jane keeps the heating on all the time. If you still feel cold, there's also a portable heater available. I didn’t need to use it, because it was already warm enough. I really loved staying here.

Carol and Clive were very welcoming and nothing was any trouble. The cottage is querky and full of character with a lovely back garden next to the river and with beautiful views of the countryside. Check in was flexible and easy to arrange. It is a lovely village and Carol's place is central and walkable to local pubs. I had a lovely time and would return to explore the area more.

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

Lovely studio with a nice big terrace. Very clean and comfortable, I could easily have stayed longer. Handy for Calais and the beautiful north coast.

Staying with Niki was like visiting a long time friend. From the moment we arrived we instantly felt at home. She shared stories and recommendations and then left us to it. She cooked us amazing breakfasts, and was a pleasure to come back to after our days out. The place was really tidy and decorated beautifully, the bed was super comfy, and she made it extra special as she knew it was for our birthdays. We would absolutely recommend staying with Niki (and cheeky little Benji)!!

It was a pleasure to stay at Vicki's place! It was clean, well organized, cozy, good parking and Vicki was lovely and responsive. Woul highly recommend 🤍

Martine and Didier's place met all of our expectations. Super clean, functional, cute and practical. The place is very nice, and the house charming, like its owners. Martine and Didier welcomed us with simplicity and knowing how to find the right balance between warm welcome, and privacy, if desired. The good breakfast, with homemade jams, local tips and interesting bonus conversations bcp we liked (we even had a small pot of pesto of garlic from the bears to take away). Everything we personally expect from a super air bnb.

The location is great. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was a dream too.

The room was spacious and very comfortable, quiet in a beautiful little village, not far from the sea and well located to explore this beautiful area. The homemade bread and croissants were delicious, and Marie-Noëlle and her husband were available and very welcoming, we will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Tamila's home! The bed was super comfortable and it was really lovely to read a book in the garden while drinking the high quality tea and coffee available. Over time we also learned that there are multiple "shortcuts" to arrive at the place (on foot), such that we could easily reach different parts of the town away from the main road. The apartment is just like described - no surprises there. Everything is clean, and the breakfast provided had high quality products and fruit. Tamila has been helpful and flexible, we arrived a bit earlier than scheduled yet it was no problem for letting us checking in earlier. Highly recommend!

François and I were at the meeting point for our stay at Valérie and Fabrice's. We were won over by the place, which is very well located for discovering the Opal Coast. Perfect and extremely well maintained bedroom and bathroom, delicious breakfasts, etc. Beyond all that, we met great people in Valerie and Fabrice. Valerie gave us great tips on places to visit. We had beautiful moments of sharing…THANK YOU! Thanks to all this, we fell in love with the Opal Coast. To be experienced again? YES!

I stayed at Val’s house for a night whilst I went to a wedding nearby. Val is absolutely lovely and was so helpful and responsive before getting there and whilst staying. Her house is beautiful and the room was lovely. A huge comfy bed, loads of room and the bathroom was really clean. Parking was super easy too - right outside the house in a safe gated driveway. Val made a delicious breakfast in the morning for me and I was able to say what time I would like it. She was so attentive whilst giving me space and was very relaxed with timings etc making the whole experience absolutely wonderful. I would absolutely stay there again if I’m in the area. Thank you so much Val!
