We are just 2 minutes from the Trout Run Trail, the Upper Iowa River & Luther College, which is just down the hill. Our lovely downtown Decorah is only 5 minutes away.

The Monroe Street Cottage is perfectly located within minutes of downtown Decorah, the Upper Iowa River, Pulpit Rock Brewery, the Whippy Dip, and so much more! It is the perfect retreat to slow down and relax. The cottage features a living room, kitchen, 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 full bathroom, washer/dryer, grill, and private outdoor space. When you arrive at our 16 acre farmstead, you'll see that the Little House is built on the foundation of a barn that once stood on this farm. You'll notice the local craftsmanship and salvaged materials of this cottage and it's rustic feel and modern touches. You'll start to slow down and enjoy the simplicity that our property has to offer. Walk around the farm, make friends with a cow and watch barn kitties play while gazing across the vast farm vistas. Life should always be this peaceful!

Relax and refresh at Rustic Acres Homestead & Springs. Rustic Acres was family built and is family run. This is a great place to get away and connect with family, nature, and friends. You'll get peace and quiet at Rustic Acres, but we aren't far from local attractions! We are located about two miles north of Seed Savers, three miles from Winneshiek Wildberry Winery, seven miles from Luther College, nine miles from downtown Decorah, and 13 miles from Toppling Goliath.

Entire Residential Home - “The Music Loft”

WOW! What a fun and peaceful stay! Newly Remodeled cozy 2 bedroom residential home. There is 1 king bed in the master bedroom, and a full and a twin size bunk bed in the second bed. Washer/dryer, TV, Wi-Fi, fully air conditioned. The Elvis themed kitchen has all the basics supplied., and an Elvis jukebox filled with hits. The Music Loft also features a Wireless Sound system, heated floors, desk, computer and printer. Long term stays are welcome. Pets welcome.

Hill Top House

Located .5 miles from the Upper Iowa River, Hilltop house has the most perfect view. The house sleeps 8, but we welcome and encourage smaller groups as well. This location has 2 bathrooms, a relaxing loft and the most dreamy porch. *WARNING* When booking in the winter be aware of our driveway shown in the picture. We highly recommend 4 wheel drive. We also have a pack n play and high chair available upon request.

Berry Hill Flat

Berry Hill Flat sits perched on a bluff above Trout River Valley. Trout live in beautiful places and so do we! The Flat offers a king bed in the bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, living room, twin bed, and private ground floor entrance. It is the lower level of our beautiful log home nestled in the walnut trees. Minutes to Decorah, Waukon, or the trout stream in the Valley below.

Cabin with full kitchen, bedroom with queen bed, 1 full bath, lower level has 2 futons, satellite TV, central air, extra large deck, gas grill. Less than 1 mile from Decorah's bike trail, Decorah Eagle Nest, Iowa State Fish Hatchery, 500' to snowmobile trail, fire pit with wood supplied.
