Characteristic is the ‘smûke’ scenery with thousands of kilometres of alder, dykswâlen (wooden ramparts) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. Biodiversity is high here. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The area is very suitable for hiking, cycling, canoeing.

Sleep in our beautiful haystack, 30m from the Dijk and the IJsselmeer. 600m from Restaurants, terraces, stores, art & culture and the port of Volendam. Enjoy the beautiful place with the view, the calmness and the pretty garden with several seats. The B&B is private with its own entrance, seperated from the living house. Our B&B is located on the upper floor of our house in De Waal, centrally located on Texel, the ideal base for exploring the island. The Waalenburg Nature Reserve is 1 km from the property. Here you can hike or cycle through one of the most beautiful nature reserves on Texel. The various museums are also easily accessible. Among other things Cape Cold and of course Ecomare where you can visit the seals. Den Burg, the island's largest village with various shops, is 2 km away.

Simple Life Farm Organic B&B - Entire Guests Floor

The perfect private space for your family/group holiday. Our spacious guests floor (100m²) including a large super comfy living room with wood fired oven, will be exclusively yours for the duration of your stay. Each morning you will awake to our fresh organic farm breakfast, served in your private living room. (Please note, we are a working smallholding bed and breakfast, our guests floor does not include a kitchen but there are plenty of options to eat out nearby.)

In a detached building, originally a garage, a pleasant place has been realized with its own kitchen and bathroom. There are two double beds that can also be separated. A sunny terrace is at the rear. The immediate vicinity is loved by hikers and cyclists; from the cottage you can go anywhere! Of course, the cottage is equipped with free WiFi and a smart television. The cottage has its own entrance on a demarcated piece on the property.

We are a B & B that is equipped with all comforts where privacy is paramount, and is connected to an old farmhouse in a beautiful neighborhood. This charming Accommodation offers beautiful room with small kitchenet (to manage your breakfast and very easy dinner), private terrace and free parking. The house is in the backyard of our house and has its own entrance. It is a lovely place to relax for a few days. Easy access to Alkmaar (20 min walk), Amsterdam (30min by train or car) and Netherlands coast (Egmond aan Zee, Bergen)
