My husband and I spent 4 nights at this B&B and it was absolutely incredible. The hosts were very responsive if we needed anything and gave clear instructions. They also stopped by on our last day to make sure everything was okay and brought us breakfast given it was an extremely snowy evening the night before. The B&B was exactly as it was in the pictures and was a really comfortable experience. The plus was that you could see Mt. Fuji right from the front porch on a clear day. The bus stop is right in front of the B&B so we didn’t have to drag our luggage too far. The neighbourhood was very peaceful with some great restaurants and konbinis located within a 15-20 minute walk from it. Would definitely love to go back and stay there again.

There are 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, the place is clean but the floor is very thin and the sound of our group walking upstairs will be heard clearly downstairs. And the road is narrow and we can drive an SUV, but be careful and drive slowly.The driver said the road was a bit hard to drive and was scared of scratching the body. Fuji with a clear view!The room and living room saw the big Fuji, and it was a good stay.

We spent two nights at Yume's place, which is really very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable with thick matresses on the tatami floor. Just pay attention that restaurants close very ealry - some around 17:00, so sometimes we ate from the two convenience stores (5 min. walk) that had warm meals. Overall the Hakone area is beautiful and Yume's house is very comfortable. Yume was also very helpful when I needed some extra help.

A beautiful house with a stunning view of Fuji-san. 10 mins walk to Oshino Hakkai. As long as you’re okay with using a public onsen for washing, this place is great

My family like the place. The surrounding is peaceful. Amenities are as per description and he even provided free toiletries (toothbrush etc). House very clean and insulation is good. Really helpful during winter. Mattress is comfy too. Managed to get clear view of Mount Fuji on the road near to the house. Thanks for having us.

Must go option, waking up with Mt Fuji view and extremely quiet area.

Very helpful host , the house would be a bit hard to find at night but once you find it, you feel right at home , very friendly and responsive host that will help you with anything you need

Dai's father, Eiji was very kind to us. We came here unlucky, Fuji was on heavy rain all day, yet Eiji-san comfort us and tell us that tomorrow will be sunny and we should go biking from 6AM (in which the best decision we ever made) Dai's place is very cozy, you can see Fuji-san directly from your room. As if you are in a expensive cafe. The pickup service from Kawaguchiko to the apartment make us feels like VIP. Definetely will come back 10/10

I had a lovely night at this Airbnb near Kawaguchiko station. The highlight of the stay was the warm hospitality—Mr. Aji, the host’s father, personally welcomed us at Kawaguchiko Station and kindly dropped us off the next morning after check-out. He was incredibly friendly and provided detailed check-in instructions, along with great local recommendations for places to visit. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. A special bonus was the beautiful back view of Mount Fuji—absolutely breathtaking! The Airbnb also offers free bicycles and e-bikes for a small fee, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Mt Fuji

We stayed with our children and had a wonderful time. The place was clean, had a cozy and homely atmosphere, and we felt very comfortable. We could feel Mt. Fuji close by, and with Lake Kawaguchi nearby as well, we enjoyed the rich nature and had a relaxing stay. Child-friendly tableware was provided, so we felt at ease. There was also a shopping mall nearby, which made the stay even more convenient. A hot spring facility was just a short drive away, and both kids and adults had a great time. The bathroom in the room was also very comfortable. The guidance before our stay was polite and helpful. Ideal accommodation to discover Lake Yamanakako and its surroundings. You literally saw on the Mon Fuji from this location. And the recommendations customized by hosts are great!!

This place was perfect for our travels, has everything we needed and more. The location is incredible, the local town has lots of shops and restaurants and an incredible view of Fuji while also feeling quiet and serene, I’d highly recommend! The hosts helped us with any questions we had on buses and trains so we were well connected to travelling to other areas nearby.

Our family of 8 had a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... as soon as we entered the house was deeply attracted... it was a little late for us to arrive... but the homeowner was still very warmly hosting us... not forgetting to remind us to be careful on the way to come... because it snowed in the mountain lake that day... our family's first snowing experience was here The experience is... really mesmerized by the amazing snow scenery around... Although you can't see Fuji but get a very fascinating snow view... It's very close to the individual net red punch point of Yamanaka Lake... but this trip we didn't get the chance to see the charming Mt.Fuji... hopefully we'll have the chance to come back again in the future... and see the different beauty of Mt. Fuji... I'm here very, very very Recommended for people staying at this cozy homestay… there will be a next time only if there is regret..

The owner's English is very good, communication is very smooth, and he also recommended nearby tourist attractions to us. The room is very Japanese-style, it's a whole new experience.

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.
