Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Gold Country

Great stay! Place was beautiful. I was initially anticipating it would be a small place because sometimes pictures can be deceiving but it was very spacious and rooms were big. A little tricky to figure out where the way to the apt at first but once you got it down there were no issues. I will say the beds were a bit softer than we’d like but that’s more of a personal preference. Also if you are a light sleeper beware that the geese can be a little noisy and the noise from the upstairs neighbors walking in the middle of the night kept my husband up. But again it won’t affect everyone as I slept soundly but something to note. Place was stocked with kitchen gadgets and very clean. Loved that the linens and towels smelled clean but not like strong detergent. I would highly recommend Laney’s place again and stay again. The proximity to stores and restaurants is lovely. Laney is also very responsive to messages.

Four perfect nights of amazing access to Heavenly and Lake Tahoe. Our studio condo was easy to check-in/out, the amenities were accessible, using Marriott is easy as can be. The location couldn't be better, everything from ski rentals to a coffee shop is at your door-step. The location truly made our stay extremely special a father/son ski vacation. My 13 year old and I are very grateful for your hospitality and cannot wait to visit again!

Awesome spot in the Northstar Village. Great for family looking to make it easy to get the kids on the mountain without driving and parking. Absolutely recommend and we will be back. Easy access to everything in the village and love being across from Cooper provisions, the local store with everything you might have forgotten (food, coffee, sunscreen, drinks, etc) There is a washer / dryer on the floor of the condo but bring quarters as those were hard to come by in a cashless Northstar ;)

Great location. We have used this unit multiple times and will continue to use it. Alphe is very responsive and helpful when needed.

Phil’s place is very clean and the location is great for our family to ski at Diamond peak ski resort. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything for us to make the family dinner. We had an issue with the dryer but Phil had his people to fix it the next day. The check in and the check out process is very smooth. My family has enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future.

The apartment was clean and had nice linens and basic kitchen amenities. Central location in Davis and walkable to campus and downtown. Would recommend to friends!

A small group of friends and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. When we realized the iron was missing, Pooja rushed over and brought us not only an iron, but also an ironing board that we didn’t even realize to ask for. The place is very clean and felt spacious as well! Also, the TV was working and we were able to cast our own content to it during some downtime. The beds were comfortable as well.

Property & condo are fantastic. Lived the gym, pool, condo. Neighborhood around the property was a little rough, but security was there to deal with any problems

Great place to stay for your Tahoe visit. Location is perfect for ski resorts, restaurants, and grocery stores. The property is very cosy and is stocked with everything you will need.

Had a wonderful stay here. The place was even nicer in person than the pictures. Very clean and quiet. The bed was also super comfortable, and I slept great, which is rare for me on most trips. It took me awhile to figure out, so for future guests especially when there isn’t a lot of snow: the easiest way to get up the mountain to ski is to walk up the Ski View road to the next set of condos beyond the trash bins, walk down the small hill, and ski perpendicularly across the trail to get to the Big Springs Express gondola. When you’re done for the day, skiing down the Condo Run trail will bring you to the backside of this place. Pretty convenient.

This place is an ideal location, right in the Village at Palisades. You go downstairs and you're in the middle of the action, with restaurants, shops, and skiing all right there. It was also great to have an underground parking spot included, which made it really easy to get in and out on a busy weekend. There is a king bed in the bedroom, and a comfortable (double?) sofabed in the family room. Also a kitchen with everything you might need. The balcony that overlooks the Village is also great. We did run into a little bit of a noise issue from some of the raucous folks having fun below at the Pub, but I guess that's to be expected during a holiday week. Matthew and Katie were super responsive, helpful, and generous in trying to help us during our stay. Overall if you are looking to be close to the action and like having super responsive hosts, then this is the spot!

This condo may be in an older building, but it has been beautifully updated with modern finishes in all the right ways. It’s clean, bright, and comfortable—so much so that it feels like new construction. We’ve stayed in Airbnbs all over the world, and this one was easily the best stocked, with everything from extra toiletries to a fully equipped kitchen, ensuring you have everything you need (and probably forgot). In fact, I now feel like I need to up my own hosting game! The location is unbeatable—not only is it true ski-in/ski-out, but it’s also just steps from the village. Tracy was incredibly responsive, answering our questions quickly, and her instructions were clear and easy to follow. We had a fantastic stay and hope to return to Tracy’s condo in the future.

Clean place, fit the family well and convenient shuttle to go skiing. Host was very friendly and easy to work with.

Robyn’s place was better and more spacious than described. The location cannot be beat and it was so nice to have parking in downtown Sacramento. It was an easy walk to Doco and the Golden One center as well as lots of restaurants. Our family of 4 was more than comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed and more.

It was in a good location close to San Jose airport and Kaiser Santa Clara hospital where I had heart surgery. I needed a 3 bedroom as my brother and sister flew in to assist me. I got them both at the San Jose airport. They took me to hospital on day of operation . I was 2 days in the hospital and only 2 days in the house. Lemon tree and orange tree in front yard. Place has gas stove and I didn't broil anything as I'm more familiar with an electric stove

My family and I have stayed in several Airbnb's in the Chico area, and this one is definitely one of our favorites! It was very roomy and nicely accommodated our family of six. The house was also in an ideal location--not far from the downtown area, as well as other restaurants and stores. It was perfect! The house was very clean and Anthony and Ava were responsive hosts! We will definitely seek out this home for our future visits!

My sister was coming from out of town and we needed to find a place to accommodate her small dog. We were able to book Camron’s place as last minute lodging as it was available and also accepted pets. After the 24 hr mark, we were notified by one of the hosts that there was a glitch and it is usually a 3 night minimum stay. We requested an exception as it was only 4 days away from our planned stay. We were granted an exception and were reminded to “treating the home like it’s your own w a mortgage. Not many pristine airbnb homes on the market that accept dogs and single night stays you know .” The home was exactly as described and had what we needed for our stay. The carport is small so be mindful when parking. There is also plenty of parking on the street. The room downstairs was also quite cold, so we messaged the hosts who responded promptly and dropped off extra blankets for us. Overall, I would recommend this AirBnB if you need to stay for at least 3 nights and in West Sac!

We had great stay at Katie's place. The house had plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. Our dog loved the fenced yard. It's also a great neighborhood to walk the dog (easy access to the lake). We like to cook and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed our evenings in the sofa watching movies by the fireplace. We had a snow storm our last day. As soon as a the storm was over, somebody came to plow the driveway. The 11am checkout was a big plus as compared to many others rentals where we stayed. Overall we had a great stay and would love to comeback. Katie's was super easy to communicate with.
