Tower vacation rentals in Great Britain

This was one of the most unusual places I’ve ever stayed in. We did have a few walkers come up from Chatsworth and admire the view but mainly we were in splendid isolation. Walking around the woods and admiring the Aqueduct in the evening was quite magical; it felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The tower itself is an amazing survival from Tudor times and has been modernised sympathetically. The round shower was a favourite feature. The nearby farm shop was very good with a wide range of good quality food. It did snow whilst we were there but Sandra from Chatsworth Cottages kept in touch and made sure we were fine which was much appreciated. Altogether I would recommend the tower for anyone who wants to stay somewhere unusual and highly memorable. One word of caution though there is a spiral staircase connecting the floors so the building is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

This was our first stay in Nisbet Tower, which was formerly part of Eyemouth's defence system in warring times. It has been beautifully restored and renovated, a very striking building. The tower is located very close to the astounding rocky coastline on the south side of the harbour. Walking in the area is easy and memorable.

This place is truly one of a kind—full of character, charm, and delightful quirks that make it stand out from the usual stays. Every little detail felt thoughtfully curated, creating an atmosphere that was both cosy and full of personality. What made it even more memorable was the incredible warmth and hospitality. We were made to feel so welcome as if we were staying with an old friend rather than just a guest. The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and filled with little surprises that made us smile. If you’re looking for something different from the ordinary, a place with heart and soul, this is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will be returning!

What a wonderful stay, I wished we stayed longer. Upon arrival I was met by Russell and he really is such an interesting character! For anyone about thinking twice because of the meet & greet worry no more! It really made the whole experience so much better. It’s situated in a perfect area for anyone looking to go out for food & drinks too! Most within walking distance and a great selection of bars. Thankyou so much for a lovely stay, we can’t wait to comeback!

Janette and Russell have been incredible hosts during our very restful and calming two night stay! Not only were they both incredibly welcoming, they were full of helpful information on the local area. Their home was spotless, beautifully and minimally decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings made for the perfect getaway, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches along the way. Janette and Russell’s recommendations for local dining and activities were spot on, helping us make the most of our visit. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future!

Matt & Ali's beautiful renovation of this magnificent iconic tower is second to none. The tasteful interior has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The living space has been expertly designed, combining mid-century pieces to reflect the era of the tower's original build with the very best up to the minute technology, which was very easy to use. The tower was spotless and luxurious, with a totally relaxing vibe. Everything you could possibly need during your stay was supplied. There was also a very useful Hello welcome book containing all the information you required during your stay. The tower is situated in a great location, with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. I came away feeling very chilled and rejuvenated. Thank you so much Matt & Ali for an amazing stay, for being so welcoming , for your quick responses to messages and for the lovely goodies too!! It was a pleasure to have met you both and Poppy too. I hope to be back again one day!

What a lovely find! The Water Tower is a stunning building and has been so thoughtfully designed. The space is impressive and we loved our weekend here. Lovely and quiet location, hot showers and wide windows that let the sunlight stream in. Thank you, Peter!
