Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Escape to our charming farm cottage in a remote, wild corner of Perthshire, a place of open landscapes, fresh air, and true seclusion, yet still easily accessible. Just a short drive away, the beautiful town of Dunkeld on the River Tay offers excellent delis, independent shops, welcoming pubs, and its beautiful historic cathedral. From your doorstep, explore miles of walking and cycling through forests, hills, and lochside paths, with abundant wildlife and quiet adventure in every direction.

Family retreat, games room and hot tub

With space over three levels and your own private Hot tub what more do you need? Close by to country walks in the forest or the a river Tay, or a ten minute drive to the city centre. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids). We do not allow stag and hen parties. Please do not host events at this house. This is a residential area and we ask that noise levels are respected in the evening when in the hot tub. If you are planning a wild weekend - this is not the place!

Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built.
