“Gillian was so nice! Her place was a little tricky to find but she’d told one of the other guests to look out for a guy on a motorcycle and they actually drove back down the hill suspecting I was lost and helped me find the place. Gillian was beyond accommodating - helpful and extremely friendly. Would definitely stay again.”
A lovely self-catering cottage on Halkyn Mountain set in a Site of Special Scientific Interest and adjacent to an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with stunning views over the Clwydian range. We can tempt you with wonderful walks, superb sights, easy access to Chester, wide beaches and the delightful local villages and towns of North Wales.
“Cosy little place, well stocked with everything you need, even a pint of milk and coffee! Lovely views, perfect quiet location but not to far from places to visit. Great hosts that were there if needed but happy to leave you to it aswell. We'll happily return again, thank you for a lovely weekend.”
“Such a gorgeous Air BnB! June and her husband welcomed us as soon as we arrived, showing us to the room and telling us about the amenities. June left us a lovely breakfast and was very helpful with her advice of how to get around the local area and to Chester. The room was spacious with a TV, small kitchen area, storage and bathroom. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a weekend to a lovely town (we recommend the farm shop cafe) or as a great place out of Chester for a quieter stay. We'll definitely be back as the hospitality was incredible, thank you June!”
