Our detached rural cottage is set in beautiful Welsh countryside with wonderful views adjoining the Wales link path. Ideal location for walking, exploring North Wales mountains, the historic city of Chester, Wrexham Football club. Convenient for Chester races or zoo, the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen or the World heritage site Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and canal. Fantastic mountain bike trail only 6 miles away. Situated just outside of the picturesque North Wales village of Llanarmon-yn-Ial, in an ANOB Glandwr Alyn is an ideal location for outdoor pursuits or a country getaway. For cyclists there are great road routes or if you are more of a mountain biker we are 15mins drive from Oneplanet Adventure. Offa’s Dyke path is a short walk from the cottage, alternatively the village's community pub & shop is a 15min walk. Birdwatchers love watching for Kingfishers on our deck which overlooks the river Alyn.

The Hideaway is the perfect place for you if you want to relax and unwind. Set in beautiful countryside, the Hideaway offers bespoke accommodation built just for 2. Accessed via a private driveway the Hideaway offers a comfy sofa which transforms into a king-size bed. A small-yet-perfectly formed kitchenette complete with a fridge freezer and double hob occupies one end of the cabin with an ensuite shower room at the other. A fantastic base for exploring all that North Wales has to offer.

By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Charming Cottage perfect for Chester & North Wales

A cosy converted semi-detached beamed cottage set within a farmhouse courtyard. The house is surrounded by glorious views of North Wales in a peaceful setting with bulls and cows in our paddocks. Just 14 miles from Chester and within an hour’s drive from Snowdonia. It can comfortably sleep up to three people (plus infant) by using the sofa bed in the sitting room. Cottage is fully equipped with travel cot/high chair if required. A perfect base to explore North Wales & Chester.

Mountain View Cabin

Modern one bedroom, dog friendly cabin in rural location with beautiful mountain views and walks. The cabin can sleep up to four people as it has a sofa bed, and is situated in the grounds of Lynwood which is the home of my husband Dave and I. The house has a sauna which cabin guests can use on request and at their own risk. We do not make a charge for the sauna and therefore don't provide robes or additional towels.
