Monthly Rentals in Haast Pass

Absolutely loved our stay! The property itself was beautifully designed and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay such as food, coffee, board games, telescopes to stargaze, e-bikes, fishing rods, etc! Gary definitely went above and beyond to think about the guests’ stay. He was also very helpful and responsive. My partner and I had such an amazing time stargazing and it was an unforgettable stay. Our only regret is not booking more nights!

This is a really special place, if you get the chance to stay here, do it. The surroundings are breathtaking and you can really just disconnect from the world for a while (although the WiFi is pretty good if you don’t want to entirely disconnect). The cabin is very well equipped and has everything and more you could need for a quiet getaway. Finding the cabin is very straightforward as long as you follow Kenny’s (very clear) instructions but I would recommend a 4WD if you aren’t experienced driving in the terrain, and just for comfort. Again, building the fire is easy as long as you follow the instructions provided. Kenny is a great host, super responsive and very friendly. Worth every penny!

Wonderful, charming place and absolutely worth staying at! We were welcomed very warmly and felt at home right away. It was a chilly night and the fire was already going for us. We enjoyed a wonderful evening in the bathtub outside and later in front of the fire. Breakfast was great too! Delicious homemade Müsli and everything else you need for a good breakfast. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Amy and Dougal’s place. The view is absolutely stunning and we hardly noticed the construction next door as it doesn’t obstruct the view at all. Comfy bed and kitchen filled with all amenities you could need. It was very handy having access to a washing machine as well. It was very closed to town, would recommend for a stay in wanaka !
