Vacation rentals with a firepit in Halifax

Thank you for letting us stay at your place. It perfect for us. Really responsive host, property was great with luxury bathroom and kitchen spaces. We will visit again next time we are in the area.

Would highly recommend this cottage - it has been creatively renovated to maximise space - and has been beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable and the bath luxurious. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby, and it is a five minute walk from family - what is not to like!!

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

Michelle is an exceptional host —thoughtful, accommodating, and highly responsive. She has truly gone above and beyond, equipping the property with everything you could possibly need to feel at home. The accommodation looks exactly like the pictures, fairy lights are a nice touch for a cosy look in the evenings. It is very well equipped and there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. We found the bed to be very comfortable and extra blankets for the dog were appreciated. There is lots to do in the area and shops, pubs, restaurants are a couple of minutes walk away. Jacqueline is a great host and responds immediately and offers lots of information on the area if you need anything.

What a great place. Nicely tucked away from the busy area of town, but just so walkable into it. Situated right on the canal, and near all you need to be. Then the place itself was just perfect for us. What a cosy, lovely setting they have created. Amazing. Thanks Chloe

This house is absolutely stunning. We used it for a relaxed family hen group and it’s exceeded my expectations. Kate was lovely and communicated well. We even got an earlier check in which made all the difference. The space was huge and we did not feel cramped being 10 of us! The decor was gorgeous and all the little touches were amazing. The fan left was lovely and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you so much for having the most amazing place for us to enjoy!

Thank you Lesley & Jez, for letting us stay in your wonderful property. Everything needed for a short break was provided and we appreciated the loan of the rucksack as we had forgotten ours. A lovely comfy bed and very quiet and peaceful, for a good nights sleep after some long walks with the dog. We only had three full days but made the most of them with a canal side walk to Saltaire, a day spent at Round Hay park in Leeds which our dog loved. Also a day in Leeds city which we were impressed by how clean and tidy it was. Loved the Tea cake you made for us, and will be trying your recipe shortly. Thanks again William & Theresa.

We had an amazing time at this place, it was peaceful and the view is absolutely amazing. The old post house is fully stocked, we felt like every detail was thought about and Mike was a lovely and responsive host. Highly recommend

Reluctantly left after a fantastic two-night stay at the Rossendale Cottages. We’d stayed in this beautiful & spacious studio accommodation and absolutely loved it. The staff are fantastic and were so kind throughout. The area is lovely & the walks nearby are great fun - especially to the singing tree! The bed was comfy, food yummy & hosts were gracious and lovely. I’d love to come back!

Having a house number would have helped me to find it. Maybe I missed something but I needed to call to get advice on the exact location.

Whilst it’s never easy being away from our own home at Christmas - we have family nearby to Saltaire and so this is the second time we have spent the festive period in Nina’s wonderful place and we couldn’t have felt more at home! It’s wonderfully cosy and comfortable and we even had a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! The river both calm and then rushing by outside over the weir is a delight and we were lucky enough to see the heron hunting for its breakfast most mornings. Thank you Nina for sharing your amazing home with us - again! We had a great time and were really sad to leave our little home from home.

Our stay at Chas' place was great. Lovely cabin, warm, dry and cosy even during a rainstorm! EV charger was a big plus. Great communication from the owner, whilst also giving us space and freedom to explore. Plenty of linen, bedding and towels etc, kitchen had everything you'd need. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely quick stay at Paul's, super peaceful cabin in beautiful location. Very helpful hosts who greeted us on arrival and walked us down to the cabin and explaining how everything works. Great outdoor kitchen with everything we needed. Dogs had a great time roaming around the space. Definitely a place we'd like to return again to.

We spent a wonderful weekend at the two lodges celebrating a special birthday. The lodges are beautifully furnished, equipped with pristine rooms and comfortable beds. Lovely touches like coffee pods, tea, sugar, oil and a well-stocked herb cupboard. The geese and steam train were delightful. A hot tub would be a lovely addition, as the setting really lends it to it! We would love to be able to return in the warmer weather and enjoy the decking and a BBQ. Howarth is about a 60-minute pleasant walk or £5 in an Uber. Howarth, of course, has lots of fabulous independent shops, bars, eateries and lovely walks. We booked a private ghost tour with Haunted Howarth, which we highly recommend. The French restaurant Pave was superb for a lazy lunch of cheese and wine. We headed to Hebden on our return - about 20 minutes away via the Moors, which topped off a great weekend.

The stay was amazing. Chas was very friendly. Chas's pizzas are a definite try if you get to have some. We wished we had ordered more of them.

Staying with Ria and her dad was an amazing experience. The first night we were there me and my girlfriend stepped out onto the balcony and saw 4 deer crossing the property, maybe 30 meteres from the cabin. The cabin itself was cozy and absolutley gorgeous, the outside fire pit and the outdoor lights strung around the building were amazing, and the log cabin inside always kept us warm. Just a short walk away from Bingley along the river and a beautiful walk around the Saint Ives estate and around the hill can be started from the cabin. A perfect location for a mini romantic getaway, with too many homely touches to count, i would definitley recomend staying here! 10/10

What a fantastic cabin and beautiful location. The cabin is ideally situated to visit beautiful Haworth and really well equipped. The views are amazing from the cabin as is the surrounding nature. We hope to visit again soon!
