A newly built guesthouse in the heart of the Kent countryside. You can expect to have your own spacious double room with an open plan kitchen and lounge, as well as your own bathroom with shower. The lounge looks out onto beautiful scenery which you can enjoy on your own patio and seating area. We are located close to many of Kent’s famous beaches including camber sands and have a local train station to access the main town; Ashford. Additionally there is car parking available for guests.
“It's a beautiful private apartment in nice countryside. Very stylish and nicely equipped, everything new and perfect and clean. There's a small terrace overlooking fields, where you can sit outside with a drink or a morning coffee. It's in a separate building near the owner's house but very private. Plenty of parking. No wifi. We found it excellent for visiting Rye, Winchelsea, Hastings, Pevensey, Battle, Bodiam, Tenterden etc. There's a convenience store in the nearby village of Hamstreet, and a big Tesco a few miles up the road towards Ashford.”
Welcome to Whispering Willows, a luxury attic space apartment that you will instantly fall in love with. The apartment is quite stunning. There are so many things for you to see in this area so come and explore... I feel it is important to get away from the daily grind to 're-kindle' why you got together in the first place! We have plans on other quirky spaces to stay in the future, so watch this space... We hope to see you soon... Deborah & Steve
“We loved Deb & Steve’s place. As Londoners, we couldn’t have wished for more of a welcome escape from city life. It’s quiet, rural, dark (if you’re after low light pollution) and well located for walks, English vineyards and good pubs! The place itself is cosy, nicely furnished and with a decent-sized kitchen if you’re up for self-catering. Can’t comment on the hot tub, as it was January and we chickened out of going in! They are right about transport - you’re definitely better off with a car but we did manage to get to Appledore and back a couple of times (only 20 mins stroll, mostly with pavement) and to the Ferry Inn, even at night on foot. Deb & Steve do provide bikes if you’re up for a country lane cycle. Can recommend the Black Lion pub in Appledore and Miss Mollets Tea Room. The former for fish pie or any seafood really, and the latter for excellent tea, cakes and sandwiches. If they have the sticky toffee date cake on the menu, order it without hesitation. Deb & Steve are excellent hosts, very welcoming, with great comms and plenty of local tips. And even picked us up for the station!”
Stay in the Artist's Barn! Set in a beautiful garden in the charming village of Wye, the Barn is a delightful place to spend the night and escape from the world. It's a unique experience, filled with lovely paintings, porcelain cows, a miniature doll's house, and all sorts of unexpected delights. An ideal way to experience life in an English village, or explore the countryside of East Kent, and the nearby sights of Canterbury and Dover.
“A beautiful place to stay, the barn is very intimate with beautiful artwork everywhere. There is a lovely garden behind the barn which would be perfect for a summers day. Highly recommended place to stay. In terms of location, its very central in Wye and close to the train station if you are wanting to travel outside of the town.”
