This is a very old house, more than 100 years in the mountains. In dining space, there is a wood-burning stove made by Toshi. Our garden includes a wood deck on the cedar tree, many wooden chairs made by Toshi and his students, and workshop space, etc. There is another architecture made by Toshi, next to this old house. The house has a kiln stove, and you can have breakfast here. Free wifi & Free parking. If you are just one adult & more than 2 nights booking, please ask us for discount!
“I used it as a meeting space for several hours under the name of off-site with my friends. I really wanted to stay, but unfortunately I had to return to Tokyo that day and stayed for about 1-2 hours, but it was wasteful. We are greeted by bright red leaves like a symbol tree in the garden, and the tension of our fellows is max from the beginning. It can be seen by amateurs that good old folk houses are well maintained. You can hear the livelihood of a good host from each interior. Everybody said that we would like to be able to stay slowly next time. I would like to make a reservation at another opportunity. Really recommended for those interested in art, woodwork and quiet country life!”
Brand new house built in August 2018!! We have other rooms available in our house. -What is Port House? A Japanese house with 10 guest rooms, all designed from scratch for Airbnb purpose -Location Only 100 steps from Hatagaya station which is 2 stations away from Shinjuku and 15min bus ride from Shibuya.
“One of the cleanest and quietest places I`ve stayed in the Tokyo area. It`s conveniently close by the Hatagaya station, Family Mart, 7-11, and right by the corner of two 24hr food places, SGusto and Matsuya. (Helpful if you hit a night on the town and need some late night food). The area itself has a lot of hidden gems. The rooms are nice, clean, and modestly decorated with, what looked like, Muji apparel. The doors use a no-key system, and are electronic using touch-locks. The common space was nice to lounge in, and every floor has a refrigerator at the end of the hall to store a few items for all guests, conveniently labeled by room number. I think one of the nicest touches, which I haven`t experienced at other Airbnbs, is that the hosts want to meet you and greet you upon check-in. One of them will schedule a time to stop-by to say hello and tell you a little about Port House and the area. I will happily stay here again in the future :).”

“The house is very nice and the location is very convenient. Seibu Yuenji Station is a 2-minute walk. The playground, Lake Tama and Sayama Park are opposite. The second floor room can see Mount Fuji. The host is warm and hospitable. Not only did he come to the station to meet us in person, but he accompanied us to familiarize ourselves with the surroundings, so we quickly learned where it was worth going. Because the supermarket is closed in the new year, and you ca n’t buy anything, the landlord also specially brought her own dumplings and oranges picked by her family. Thank you so much! All five points recommended!”
