Monthly Rentals in Hassop

Such a beautiful cottage, with great amenities and a private garden so our 2 dogs could go in the garden without the worry of them getting onto the road. The village is so peaceful, with a couple of pubs and a local village shop. Great access to local walks from the cottage and also well placed to explore further a field. We only had a weekend stay, but will definitely come back again!

Staying at Victoria's place in Great Longstone was a much needed break from the city and busy life we lead. Set in the beautiful village of Great Longstone, all the expectation s one would have of a British cottage setting were present. Beautiful surroundings, lovely countryside and the cottage itself had lovely charming pieces. Such as a lovely wood burner that my husband spent hours in front of and stone flooring with warm underfloor heating. The Cottage was small but was well equipped and if anything, made it more of a cosy feel Its location is a bit tricky to find but a quick call was enough to realise we were just one turn away and Victoria was very helpful. Being situated close to Bakewell was lovely as well as the Monsal trail meant there was loads to do as well as having space to relax Would highly recommend, just make sure you read the directions properly and maybe search for the nearby pub if using satellite navigation (the white lion- great Longstone)

Beautiful cottage with great views and a lovely living space. Plenty of space for four people with great walks straight from the door, straight onto back lanes. Would recommend shoes for mud to avoid walking on the main road, which can be busy!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The house was warm, comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was cosy and clutter free. Great Longstone was also a great little village with some lovely walks from the door and close to the Monsal trail. The hosts were excellent, ver responsive and helpful. Thank you!
