Enjoyed a quiet and relaxing few days in Ocracoke. House is split with second flooring being a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a little efficiency kitchen. It worked well for my family for a few days. On a canal. Very peaceful and serene. Easy to get around island. Had a little hiccup checking in but host was responsive and nice. We would stay again.

Cozy and private small space was perfect for my solo trip to the coast. The beach is not right "there" but there is a great access area with parking, bathrooms, and showers only about a 5 minute drive away. It was also great to be able to walk downstairs and enjoy Wes' sound therapy session. There is also yoga in that space...I missed that beacuse I slept in! But I'd like to return and try a yoga class, as well. I also spent one day on Ocracoke Island. This is a great spot to get to the Hatteras Ferry Terminal, since it is only about a 10 minute drive. The ferry is free and, if you get to the terminal early, 8am, there is no wait. Overall, a great spot and a wonderful house!

Fine spot. Elegant. Fine craftsmanship. Easy access to kiteboarding launch sites. Great views over the sound and perfect comet views as it turned out.

Rocking Hat Retreat was awesome, quiet, comfortable, private off the beaten path a bit, very clean. I liked the gated drive, felt a little secure being there. Parking under the building was nice. It was a really nice pplace to kick back and relax after a day of driving and a day in the beach, wish we could have stayed longer! Jayme was onsite when we arrived and very helpful in restraint selection (Mad Crabber) very informative on local amenities as well. We will return ! Thank you Jayme!

I love it. it was amazing week. ocean in 3 min. kite point in 20 min. restaurants and markets. Extra clean room. So quiet area. we will be back for sure.

Wes and Rhonda's Airbnb was a wonderful retreat tucked away in a local neighborhood. We try to make an annual trip to the area in this was our favorite place to stay of our all trips to Hatteras Island. The unit has a lovely bedroom and kitchenette, decorated with Rhonda's original artwork. There is a washer and dryer and a spacious bathroom, which is just what we needed after a long day at the beach. The porch looks out onto a oak tree with gorgeous Spanish moss hanging from the branches. We even got a few visits from our hosts adorable cats! Wes was very friendly and commutative, he proactively texted to check in and provide instructions. If you stay at this lovely spot, we highly recommend stopping by Red Drum Pottery to grab some of Rhonda's pottery and artwork to bring some memories back home with you!

The cottage has everything you could ask for and more. The attention to detail made us feel welcome - things like having a charging block for all your electronics was a nice touch. Bonnie is super nice, checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely rent again!

Meredith is a great host! Very communicative and responsive. She was accommodating towards our needs. I’d stay again considering how clean and quiet the room was!

A great place to stay and relax. Just what we were looking for. The place was great for a couple. Wendy was always available to answer any questions and recommend good places to go to eat or the best beach. If in the area we would stay again.

Christine was amazing, she was quick to respond to questions and was always polite. the condo was just as described. We had a great stay and would stay there again!

This place was great! It was so close to the beach. The porch was nice, especially with our dog who loves outside time. Everything was well taken care of and very clean. It was nice to have a full kitchen and the couch was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Heba’s place is an excellent listing with a great location on Hwy 12 in Frisco. It offers just about every amenity needed for a Hatteras Island visit. Even though my wife and I visited in the winter, we still felt there was much to do outside during our visit. The kitchen was great. The bathroom was clean with a solid shower. The bed was very comfy for those who like a more firm bed. I loved the electric heater in the living room and the TVs in both the living room and the bedroom were a bonus. Ample amounts of parking available and quite private, even though you are a few feet away from other dwellings. There is a great restaurant across the street within walking distance and a gas station only a minute away. 10 minute drive to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, or the Hatteras Ferry and less than 5 minute drive to Frisco Beach. Definitely recommend and would stay here again if this listing is available in the future.

This was a great stay for a peaceful weekend! The view of the sound is incredible with beautiful sunsets, the house had everything we needed, the owners were very responsive, and it was within walking distance to both the sound and the beach while also being close to some great restaurants. Exceeded my expectations!

Loved Rory's place. Great for just me and my dog. Quiet, tucked into a private corner of a nice neighborhood steps to the beach and close to restaurants, shops, etc! Has everything you need for a short stay and cannot be beat for the price! Also enjoyed meeting the neighborhood deer!

We were very pleased with Watermens retreat, the house was very nice and was exactly as described.

This is such a beautiful spot with welcoming helpful hosts. This was our second time staying there and we are looking forward to coming back.
