A beautiful cottage situated right in the heart of Hayfield Village, situated in Derbyshires beautiful Peak District National Park and at the foot of Kinder Scout and the moors beyond. The perfect for your stay in the peaks, walking, sight seeing or just relaxing.
“Comfy, warm, well located and has everything you need; Christian is a lovely host who communicates promptly. Had a fantastic New Year stay with the church opposite pealing in the next decade and had a first class view of the fireworks from the front bedroom. We will definitely be back to explore the area further. Many thanks Christian!”
Twenty Trees Cottage is set in a quiet location on the edge of the village of Hayfield in the Derbyshire Peak District, a perfect retreat for a relaxing break or base from which to explore this outstandingly beautiful area. The cottage is in a small terrace with an open aspect and views of the hills to the front and small garden at the rear beyond which is farmland. The Twenty Trees (actually 19 trees) is a small copse standing on the skyline above the village.
“This is a super comfortable cottage, set in a central position in a pretty village, which has two village stores, two pubs, two tearooms, a pharmacy and access to many local walks, some simple and other more complex trails. The cottage was immaculately clean, comfortable beds, well equipped for every kitchen requirement; well stocked with local information and maps, along with books and dvds. In all, it could not have been bettered.”
Woolpack Studio was once the Woolshop in the centre of the village and has been sensitively renovated into a one bedroom apartment. The interior design is simple modern and paired back, graced with original art throughout. The Studio is located in the heart of the village within a minutes reach of 3 gastro pubs, the award winning Italian restaurants 'Collesso" and the'Pack Horse' with their gastronomic delights and hugely popular tasting menu. With direct walking into the National Park.
“David’s place is very stylish and cosy. It had everything we needed, special mention to the cafetières and two teapots! The village of Hayfield is very beautiful and lively. The local shop has good fresh bread and eggs. Although the place is advertised as a studio, it actually has a separate bedroom which is nice. Some previous reviews mentioned problems with the shower, but we actually thought it was completely fine once at the right setting (set the power to high, temperature 7-8).”
