The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

This renovated 4 bedroom home is only a 200 metre stroll through a nature reserve to Cowes beach, Red Rock beach and Ventnor. The expansive 10 metre deck under the wisteria vines enjoys a view to the sea from strategically positioned bar-stools, with an adjacent cosy outdoor dining area for 8 people. This coastal Hamptons boho escape has been stylishly decorated with brand new furnishings, a new farmhouse open plan kitchen & dining connected to the living room, and two very large bathrooms.

Come and stay at this newly built beach house on Phillip Island in the beautiful beachside town of Rhyll. It has 3 bedrooms that sleep 8 guests and well behaved pets are also welcome. Both heating and cooling is available, including a new wood heater for chilly winter nights. The front and left of the house feature a large undercover timber deck with outdoor lounge and dining options. The yard is fully secured with a front fence height of 1.2m. The driveway accommodates up to 4 cars
