Welcome to Haldenhof in Simonswald 🌲 An exceptional apartment – surrounded by moss-covered rocks, gentle streams, and the stunning nature of the Black Forest. Just about 30 minutes from Freiburg im Breisgau, this exclusive retreat offers nearly 160 sqm of living space. The building, which was extensively renovated in 2022, is part of a historic estate dating back to 1743, beautifully combining heritage with modern comfort – perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Here you will find a place for people who appreciate the special – peace, space and natural beauty. The Schwalbennest holiday apartment in Hofstetten offers 30 m² of space for up to 2 guests. It features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. You have access to a private balcony. A fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal. Amenities include Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, baby cot, and high chair, ensuring you feel comfortable during your stay. Our farm is surrounded by meadows and forests in a side valley of Hofstetten in the Kinzigtal.

Our apartment "Mühlenlounge" deserves its name. We live in an old oil mill, a short walk from the attractive city center of Haslach, where the preserved half-timbered framework is impressive. The Mühlenlounge has a loft character and many originals from the time of the oil mill have been preserved. Nevertheless, the state of the art in this apartment is modern, such as TV, kitchen equipment, coffee maker, Wi-Fi, etc.

Waldhauser farm barrel

The heated Waldhauser Hof Fässle offers a unique overnight experience. The quiet retreat is designed for two people and has a cozy double bed, a seating area, storage space and a kitchen corner with a wash basin and refrigerator. Outside, a seating lounge invites you to relax. A dry separation toilet is located next to the barrel. Please note that there is no shower. Ideal for those who enjoy nature and want to relax!

You can see the sunrise over the Black Forest and the sunset over the Kaiserstuhl while enjoying a glass of wine in the queen-size bed by the window or on the terrace. Our farm is surrounded by meadows and forests in a side valley of Hofstetten. We are a grassland farm with suckler cows and calves, which are in the pasture in summer and in the barn in winter. We also have chickens. Forestry and distilling complete the agriculture. Here you can buy farm products such as bread, bacon and canned sausage.
