Beach house vacation rentals in Homer

The view of Homer Spit and the mountains was worth every penny, the stairs to the beach was a workout but worth it. I would stay here again if I had a chance!!

Beautiful home for our family with two babies. It was very comfy and free of clutter for the little ones. The host was very friendly. The house had everything you could need. One thing though is that if you need to use the hose, the host needs to turn it on manually.

We had a great stay and enjoyed our time in Homer. The views from inside and from the deck are amazing, very relaxing! Saw eagles, moose and a squirrel while there.

Our family of 5 and an infant stayed and enjoyed every minute. House is beautiful, view is absolutely stunning, there is a lot to do on the premises and in surrounding area. We spent a lot of time walking beaches and boardwalks of spit area, incredible hiking using the water taxi, caught a lot of fish, and crossed many items off of our list. Even though we didn’t use fire pit, it looks awesome. Home is clean and very well stocked. Connie was great to work with - highly recommend!!

House was great and an absolutely amazing view!! We had a very strong gas smell when we first opened the door and soon discovered the stove was left on. Connie was helpful and responsive and we got the place all aired out. After that, it was a fantastic experience!

Ideal location right near Bishop’s Beach, two bakeries and the main part of Homer. Bedrooms are large and plenty of space for a family to spread out. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Plenty of board games and books. Beautiful views of the bay and easy walk to the beach. One thing to note is that sound does travel easily from the studio below, so I imagine it goes both ways. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay again with our two tweens.

We had such a great time here! It was homey, yet uncluttered with lots of artistic flair. We have 4 daughters (young adults and teen) and this was a great spot to be. There’s room for everyone to be comfortable inside, but lots of options close by for people to break off and do their own thing (library, shops or even the beach). We used the kitchen for inexpensive meal options and they provided plenty of spices, condiments and coffee and tea options. They also had very nice shampoo and soaps. 😄👍

This was our family’s first trip to Alaska. We’ve been around the world and can honestly say Alaska took our breath away. And this home was incredible with incredible hosts. The location and views were breathtaking. It was so peaceful and quiet. The hosts went above and beyond and even picked up our processed fish from a fishing trip because we could not make it back to the home after an excursion before the fish processing place closed. The kitchen was awesome to cook in. Cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay in Homer.

Beautiful views and good location to access Homer for the day. No privacy, as there are no doors in upstairs area (main bed, twin bed and bathroom are up there). Also, no blinds to block the light so hard to get our young son to sleep at night.

This home has possibly the most stylish kitchen of any Airbnb we've stayed in! I loved the upstairs space - we spent lots of time enjoying the view, and the open plan kitchen/lounge. My 3 year old daughter was excited to discover the little 'cove' with toys and lights in her room. Everything is beautifully and thoughtfully done in this home and the place feels brand new. One note is that it's just behind the main highway into Homer. You can't see the road, but there is some traffic noise and I wondered if that would scare the wildlife away. But no, we saw moose just in front of the house on our first day. Loved it!

What a wonderful place! Very bright, amazing view, plenty of space for a family of 5 and the hosts are super-nice as well. Would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Homer.

Before we had left, as a family we were all already planning a trip back to Homer, and for longer, because we loved the area and this home so much. The lawn and view is just absolutely stunning. Everything about the property is perfection, including the amazing craftsmanship and details, even down to the fence and the fire pit. We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to spend some time here, and are dreaming of when we can return.

A gem. The apartment looks brand new, spacious, beautiful and functional. The view is incredible. Maranatha was super responsive and helpful. Everything looks as good or better than the pictures and description. Would stay again any time.

Our family enjoyed our time at Sarah and Ryan’s. The views were great and space was nice. One minor issue is our GPS took us one street farther up, so be aware you need to watch for the house a bit and not mindlessly follow google maps. It happened to my parents on their way in, too. The house had a simply checkout process, which we appreciated. Great spot!

Great host and they were so responsive, even when I messed up the reservation! I highly recommend staying here when in Homer. We'll be back!

I was traveling with 3 other adults and 4 children (ages 6, 5, 4, 3). We all agreed that we would definitely book this rental again. It is a brand new construction and everything inside is modern and in pristine condition. We greatly appreciated how well stocked the house was for our stay (laundry soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, kitchen spices, coffee). The large windows with the view of the Homer Spit, bay and mountains is what we treasured the most from our stay. Cliff is very friendly and was quick to respond to our questions

We had an amazing time staying at this cabin in Homer, AK! It was absolutely perfect for us—quiet, cozy, and close to town but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The view of the mountains from the front porch was breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot a moose in the neighborhood! The cabin itself was impeccably cared for, with everything feeling new and thoughtfully designed. Although we didn’t use the upstairs room, it would be perfect if you’re traveling with one or two kids. You can really tell that a lot of love and attention went into making this cabin a welcoming and comfortable retreat. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic stay in Homer!

Jocelyn’s home was beautiful with an amazing view of the Kachemak Bay! Everything was clean and comfortable! Lots of space too! We enjoyed staying there!

Jason and Ally were extremely accommodating. Staying at their place felt right at home. The washer and dryer were a major perk after all the rain and mud. The kitchen was fully stocked. Having the bedroom on the top flow gave the place a treehouse feel with great views.
