Hi! I live in the most beautiful place in the world and would love to share that with you! I am a wildlife biologist, artist, dancer, musician and entrepreneur. I have lived in Alaska for 11 years and started Arctic Paradise B&B in 2002.

My love of animals and nature led me to be a wildlife biologist which I have been doing for 25 years. With my local knowledge of the area, wildlife and other businesses, I can help you make the most of your trip by helping to set you up on some great adventures so that you can see some of the amazing scenery and wildlife of this area whether you want to do it by boat, air, underwater or on foot

I am a really creative person and love to create one of a kind stained glass wine and martini glasses and other items and also create one of a kind jewelry. I like to share that with you by serving your breakfast in stained glass dishes that I created and also offer wholesale prices on my artwork to guests.

I also love dancing and music, and started a music and dance company several years ago called Kaleido World Percussion and Dance. I’m a certified American Tribal Style Dance instructor and regularly teach others how to dance and play middle-eastern music on traditional drums and other instruments. Do you want to explore your creative side? Let me know and I am happy to give private lessons in music, dance or jewelry making during your visit.

Besides all the really fun stuff I already mentioned, I like to fly airplanes, scuba dive, kayak, hike, travel, collect wild berries and mushrooms and hang out with friends.

I have tried to make my B&B everything that I would want if I were traveling. It’s beautiful, comfortable, cozy, safe, private and unique. I hope you will come and visit! If you would like to know more, feel free to check out my website at www.arcticparadise.com.
