Quaint & artsy Hillsborough, funky & fun Chapel Hill/UNC and Carrboro are a short drive. Eno River State Park, hiking & biking trails, and the Mountains to Sea Trail are 2.5 miles away. Full of unexpected details, including an outside labyrinth, The Stable is a comfortable sanctuary for all who want to settle in and smile.

Lovely, light-filled apartment has a bedroom, full kitchen and living area, bathroom, private entrance, and patio with seating. Occasionally, we may have first-floor space available at extra cost. Guest Suite: Artist studio turned into loft.

A guest suite that's a former artist studio with 10-15 foot high windows and 20 foot high ceiling, converted into one bedroom loft with private entrance, bath, living area, and kitchenette. The space is attached to the rest of my house, but you'll have a private entrance, your own bathroom, living area and kitchenette and two seat dining table. You will not have access to a full kitchen. New in September 2025: Blackout curtains provide privacy at night and a darker room for sleeping in.

Ten ft. ceilings and fine architectural details; terraced; fountains nestled in a tree grove on 10 acres with foot paths. 15-20 minutes to Chapel Hill/Carrboro, University of North Carolina; Pittsboro and the Saxapahaw arts community on the Haw River. Centrally located to Duke University and Duke Medical. Perfect for longer stays for visiting professionals as well as shorter stays to enjoy all Durham has to offer.
