We enjoyed our stay there, and the owner was very friendly. I would highly recommend the place to others. I hope to return in the future.

A private inn in a renovated old Japanese house.

MizuhoRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It was used with two children, but there were three bedrooms and a futon, which was very easy to use.It also had all the amenities, silverware, dish soap, and everything I needed. Every room was spacious, so the children had a relaxing time, and my parents were happy. Messaging was quick, accurate, and there was no trouble. It was a very hot day out of season, so there was an original T-shirt, which was helpful.I would like to stay there again.

Motomaki apartment, Chinatown, and Motomachi by bicycle!Basecamp of your Japan trip!

MarlanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Ted is a wonderful, helpful, accommodating, friendly host! His place is a quiet getaway, but still close to stations and bus stops. Many restaurants and combinis are nearby, and a few grocery stores as well. You can borrow a bike from him, making travel around Yokohama super convenient! Only note I would say, is to be quiet for your neighbors, especially at night. The walls are thin, and I had to politely ask my neighbors to speak softer one time because they were very loud through the walls. The neighbors (also Airbnb guests) were friendly about it! Highly recommended, and I will stay again if I have the opportunity!

One room new apartment in YOKOHAMA near KAMAKURA

VanessaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place is located in a quiet neighborhood but it is quite far from the subway station, 30mins if you walk and 10mins if bus. There's also bridges with stairs on the way. It's quite small and just enough for one person to stay in. The shower and the toilet are in separate rooms. There's no bed but the owner provides futon and a kotatsu. He's very helpful and responsive. However there's no elevator to go up to apartment. The stairs (20 steps) are very steep so if you have more than one suitcase you might want to plan out your time.
