Beautiful studio apartment in town, walking distance to Devoe beach on Burt Lake, with access to inland water way. Mackinaw is just 25 min away to spend the day on the island or shopping around
“Amanda was a super host. She greeted us when we arrived and showed us the beautiful apartment. It a clean, up to date, spacious, and cute. The location is spot on, close to the high way, and right in town. It’s only 25-30 minutes from Mackinaw City, osqueoc falls, and petosky. The only thing I didn’t know was the apartment is attached to the host’s house. It’s definitely not a negative!”

“Beautiful little cabin in the woods surrounded by other unique A frame designs. I really enjoyed the tiny details such as the hand laid ceramic tiles in the bathrooms and kitchen. The pottery and kitchen amenities were really charming and the fridge/freezer are hidden away posing as pull out drawers. This was my dog Poes first vacation and she really appreciated the window layout and perched for hours on the top step of the stairs. Would love to stay again! Take care!”
Welcome to Echo Lake. Located in Nunda Twp. MI, just 5 miles East of I-75 and exit 301. A new heated all seasons bell tent is nestled on a private park like setting, you are approximately 30 minutes from major tourist destinations in Northern Michigan, including; Petoskey, Mackinaw Bridge, Gaylord and Boyne. This site is located on a beautiful private lake with access to a dock and aluminum boat, a firepit furnished with benches and tables for marsh mellow and hotdog roasting.
“Our glamping experience at Jeff's place was extremely comfortable. The tent had a heater inside and was also very well thermally insulated. On the 2nd night, the entire tent had gotten blanketed by the snow, but the heat and blankets inside the tent kept us cozy. Having a proper restroom and a fridge a few steps outside of the tent, was an additional bonus. There's also a beautiful lake merely a few feet away from the tent, which will romanticize your morning coffee experience. Our dog absolutely loved the free space and actually didn't want to leave at the checkout :p. A night before our checkout, we had ran into a car situation, which could have been a bit problematic but Jeff was courteous enough to take care of it in the morning. The entire tent along with the lake in the background was so picturesque that when I showed the pictures to my friends, they immediately wanted to come to Jeff's place! Over all, our experience with Jeff was really comforting, he is an exceptional host and I'd recommend his lodge to anyone looking to experience some quietude, while still having the luxury of basic amenities.”
