Old Town Lake Retreat

Take it easy at this secluded, waterfront cabin near beautiful Magnolia Beach. Fish or launch kayaks from your front yard. This rustic property is located down a dirt road that can be very difficult to access when it rains a lot. 4x4 vehicles recommend. During dry times, the road is fine. Wildlife of all kinds are sometimes seen, many species of birds, bobcat, deer, and sometimes snakes. Alligators live in Old Town Lake, much like any body of water in South Texas. Swimming not recommended.

Welcome to the Blue Crab Cottage. Built in 2024, the Blue Crab Two replaces our beloved original Blue Crab. Your days will start with colorful Matagorda Bay sunrises and equally spectacular Powder horn Lake sunsets. The 360 degree views from the crow's-nest, are a favorite for bird and dolphin watching. Fish the bay out front or lake in the back. Just a few yards away, the Indianola Courthouse monument and Cistern monument are remainders of the catastrophic hurricanes of historic Indianola.

Enjoy the sunrise, watch dolphins, go fishing, boating or bird watching all from the private pier! This house is 1,960 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths on a large beautiful yard and a screened-in porch. The Master suite is downstairs on the main floor and there are 2 more bedrooms upstairs. This house will sleep 8 ADULTS comfortably (children welcomed!)

They have two separate listings to identify them for renting purposes, Casita A and Casita B. This listing is to rent Casita B, a one bedroom condo with amazing views and access to a lighted fishing pier.
