This is a private rental accommodation located next to the historic site of the former Sanjo residence in Miyazu City, Kyoto Prefecture. The former Sanjo family has prospered in the shipping, silk, and sake industries in Miyazu Castle since the Edo period. It was also the residence of the Edo shogunate patrol officer, and in the Meiji period, it was the residence of Prince Arisugawa Takahito and Prince Komatsu Takahito, and is now designated as an important cultural property by the country. We have rebuilt the annex as an inn, "Miyanaka Kanbei Honten". The name of the house is the same as the sake brewery at the time. The owner carefully selected high-quality flooring and tiles while maintaining the atmosphere of that time, and placed selected sofas, tables, and bar counters in the living room on the ground floor. We have created a space for you to relax and unwind. Please spend your time in a high-quality space while feeling the history and seasonal changes of Miyazu, a port town that has fascinated many people since ancient times. Guests staying at the property will receive a free ticket to the former residence of the Mikami family! You can use it on either your check-in or check-out date. We hope you enjoy the Edo atmosphere. The opening hours of the Former Sanjo Matsuya residence are from 9: 00 to 17: 00. (Admission reception is until 16: 30) Closed during the New Year's holidays (December 29 - January 3).

A building where you can stay while feeling the region

A property that had been vacant for about 3 years in the "Kami-Miyazu" area, which boasts countryside scenery and is about a 10-minute drive from the center of Miyazu, was renovated into a private rental accommodation. It is 10 minutes to the sea, 15 minutes to Amanohashidate, and 45 minutes to Ine no Funaya. It is not a particularly beautiful facility, but you can spend a relaxing time unique to the area. Basically, we don't serve food, but if you'd like, you can book a breakfast onigiri set at the nearby onigiri cafe, which is limited to our facility (for a fee) We can also introduce you to local people, BBQ, harvesting experiences, e-bike tours in the area, and more. Please check with me in advanced. BBQ is also available for rent as a set for ¥2,200. (Chairs, stove, charcoal, lighter, from preparation to cleaning up) Food is not included. Please bring your own. We do not allow BBQs outside of rentals. In the garage, in addition to BBQ, you can do bicycle and motorcycle maintenance without getting wet from the rain. You can store it in a locked building, so you can travel around Tango with peace of mind. Parking is available right behind the facility.

Ine no Yakata Shiokaze 8 minutes from Ine no Funaya, 25 minutes from Amanohashidate

It is an 8-minute drive from Ine no Funaya and a 25-minute drive from Amanohashidate, and a great location for sightseeing in Kyoto.There are also hot springs and beaches nearby. Although the building is old, it was renovated 5 years ago. Western-style rooms, toilets, and baths on the first floor. Japanese-style rooms, kitchens, and dining rooms on the second floor. The stairs to the second floor are a little steep, so please be careful because it may be inconvenient for small children and the elderly. The bedroom is a Western-style room (double bed x 1) and a Japanese-style room (Japanese futon x 2), and can accommodate up to 3 guests. It also has a kitchen and laundry so it's good for long-term stays. There is no supermarket, convenience store, or restaurant nearby. There is a long climb 15 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop. It is a very inconvenient place to be without a car, so please come by car or rental car. You can park your car in front of the house. * Free pick-up and drop-off at check-in and check-out. For small cars, up to 3 guests, large luggage cannot be loaded, so if it cannot be loaded, we will arrange a taxi.

Built in the early Showa era and long used as a tea ceremony classroom, the townhouse has been reborn as a private rental inn, "Kyomachiya Cottage karigane". It is a 1-minute walk to the hot springs and Daikokuji Temple, which has deep ties to tea. Shino, with its unique cafes, coffee roasters, delicious Japanese confectionery stores, bakeries, and soba shops. Please use the carefully restored Kyomachiya as your base for sightseeing in northern Kyoto, where time flows slowly, with a focus on natural materials and traditional craftsmanship by Miyadai Koge and Saigo craftsmen.
