Monthly Rentals in Iriomote-jima

Beautiful stay. 2 min walk from a private beach and a very short drive to some spectacular beaches and views. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle was really special. Left feeling revitalised and totally relaxed. Would definitely recommend renting a car as the accommodation would be difficult to get to otherwise.

It was great!️ On my graduation trip, I used it as a group of five men, but first of all, it was beautiful and comfortable. It was a little far from the city, but with a rental car, it🤿 was a place full of hospitality so that there were no life jackets and snorkels. i also used sup, but I was able to see a very beautiful sunset and mangrove. The owner was also a very nice person, gave me recommendations for izakayas and restaurants, and was kind. I will stay again when I come to Ishigaki Island! Highly recommended for those who can drive!! Thank you very much.❗️

We loved our cozy cottage. The village had a very laid back flair. As we were there during the off season the village was even more quiet than usual. Omura-san picked us up at the harbour and drove us back. She brought us very delicious tea and told us how to make it with the plants in our garden.

This was an exceptional stay in Funaki, which may as well be at the end of Japan. This beautiful cottage, with modern furnishings and a cosy bed, can only be accessed by small boat - which is part of the fun. The good news is, they run at least 4 times a day (daily) and only cost 960JNY return. This buys you a private and local experience. Ida beach (a 10 mins. walk away) was deserted early this morning and I swam for 10 minutes uninterrupted with a sea turtle. Also be sure not to miss trying the owner's wild boar soba (a local speciality), as she owns one of the few local restaurants. Outstanding!
