I stayed with my family (3 +🐶) in GW.They handled me smoothly and politely from the time of booking, and I felt at ease even if I had any questions. I added the sauna, BBQ, pizza oven, and fire pit as an option, and they were all great!Especially the sauna.The sauna has a great aromatic oil scent, and it's great to take a break while looking at nature on the bench! Our home has unlimited BBQs for a lifetime.My father roasted meat outside for a long time or sunbathing on a bench. Lol The room is also fully equipped, and we had a session with the guitar we brought with us!(It was a house away, so I couldn't play much during the day *\ (^ o ^)/*) I heard the sound of the river and birds chirping in the morning, freeing me from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it the best detox. Thank you very much. p.s It is a nearby facility, but there is also a roadside station and creation within walking distance, making it convenient when I forgot to buy it.The roadside station also sold desserts and it was delicious (I ate at twilight in the pudding garden) I want you to use it again!

As many other reviews here have stated, this is one of the best AirBnB I have ever stayed in. The place is spacious and absolutely gorgeous. We arrived late at night, check in was easy and when we got inside we just said “wow!”. The villa is so well decorated and laid out. Looks even better than photos. There is everything you want or need for your stay. We stayed with our toddler and there were even thoughtful amenities left for her. The delicious treats left for us with handwritten notes was a beautiful surprise. The bed was so comfortable and the private onsen was a perfect addition. Yuji was a great host, very responsive and friendly. We hired a car which made it easier to get to the accommodation as it’s secluded and in nature. Driving is also a great way to explore the local area, definitely recommend. We stayed two nights and wish we stayed longer. We can’t wait to come back to Hakone and stay in your beautiful villa again. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay ❤️

We loved our stay at the treehouse! Beautiful location and beautiful house. With some attention to detail they could easily make it a 5 star place to stay.

This is my second time staying at this Airbnb, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. The place is consistently clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The bed is super comfortable, the Wi-Fi is fast and reliable (perfect for working remotely), and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay. What I appreciate most is the host's attention to detail and warm hospitality. Check-in was smooth, communication was prompt, and they went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The location is also a huge plus it safe, quiet, and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and key attractions. It’s rare to find a place that offers this level of quality and service at such a great value. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks Tohru for being an amazing host. We really enjoyed our stay at your air bnb. It was an authentic Japanese style living experience. The rooms had the most beautiful view of Mt Fuji. Tohru was very friendly and kind. He offered to pick us up and drop us off at the bus station. Additionally, we were also able to borrow his bikes to explore Lake Kawaguchiko. Would highly recommend booking this serene accommodation.

It's an Airbnb that makes you feel at home. For me, the most impressive are many books, a guitar and unique north America decorations, it's like a journey of different culture, very interesting. The owner respond pretty fast and was very helpful too. A recommendable place. Thank you!

The Tinderbox just keeps getting better! Each time we stay, there are new improvements. Unlike many places that starts to show wear, the hosts keep making small changes and updates that improves the comfort of the home. New plush down blankets and a new washing machine/dryer combo, new shower head that delivers more water pressure… The hosts are very responsive and always available. They think of the smallest details to ensure a great experience. We look forward to our next holiday at this very comfortable home!
