Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Kanazawa

A rare opportunity to stay in a slice of history. Very well preserved historical home in an area relatively untouched by war or disaster for hundreds of years. Toku and his family were amazing, accomodating hosts and I truly felt at home here.

This 95 year old traditional house is beautiful. It's perfectly located, right next door to the Omicho Market and a short walk to the Castle and gardens. We let the host know we intended to walk to the accommodation from Kanazawa Station and she sent through a map and photo guide. She then meet us at the house and gave us a tour of the house and also afood/tourist map. We were there over Golden Week and the host let us know about special holiday attractions we should check out. We highly recommend this accommodation, we loved it.

What an incredible house, every element, every detail: from the floor to the ceiling, to the roof of the house tells us a story, the garden is simply magnificent. We appreciated the quality of the futons as well as the attention offered by the owner. The location was perfect we ate in a wonderful little restaurant a few minutes walk from Soba. There are a whole bunch of amenities nearby, the neighborhood is so peaceful, everything is easy to access. There are so many things to do and see nearby. We will stay there again with great pleasure and for much longer. A pleasure and thank you again, we enjoyed feeding the Koi in the morning.

It was a better space than I could have imagined. I was attracted to the open-air bath and booked, but other than that, it was well equipped with various facilities such as a massage chair, a hair iron, and a coffee maker, and it was very popular with my family! * There is no toothbrush, so please don't forget to bring it if you are going⚠️ It was a car ride, but there was a delicious rice restaurant and convenience store nearby, so there was no inconvenience. It was a time when the rattan flowers hadn't bloomed yet, but I'd love to see you in full bloom next time!

It was nice to have amenities such as toothbrushes and towels.It was easy to understand how to check in and where to find the parking lot, etc., and I was able to use it smoothly.

This place is a quirky gem. Kon is delightful, knowledgeable and was a great host. From sake tasting to providing suggestions about what to see, and then providing a personal tour, it was more than we could have hoped for. This place may feel like it is a bit out of the way but it is well worth the experience. Recommend having a car to explore. We highly recommend it!

Easily one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The house is located in a beautiful and serene town surrounded by nature but close enough to town so that if you wanted, you could easily walk into the center and enjoy restaurants and cafes. We particularly loved the Insect Museum! With a car you can do trips to the bigger city of Kanazawa as well as other surrounding attractions in nature. The house was inviting, comfy, and most of all spotless! The bedrooms were prepared for us, the bathrooms were basically sparkling, and the living room; with its wood burning stove was so cozy! I’m not being hyperbolic when I say it was completely perfect. We are grateful to the hosts for offering up their beautiful home and their amazing hospitality. We truly cannot wait to go back!

They responded flexibly and quickly to requests, and were full of hospitality. The water area was clean and it was an old house that was beautifully renovated. The communication environment and the number of outlets were also perfect for 8 people to stay. The bedroom is next to each other with the door, and it may be a little attentive to a group of men and women. The electricity in the living room was automatic and couldn't be cut manually.

Excellent success! They were a very friendly couple and gave us information about various areas. It was very beautiful and I had a pleasant stay.
