Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. 2 person per cabin only.

The cabin is situated at our home and small self funded vegan/vegetarian sanctuary on a hill, nestled in its own small wild nature garden and developing food forest of fruit, nuts and wild edibles. We have developed our whole site into a track system or otherwise known as Paradise paddock. Meet some of our rescue animals. Sit by the campfire and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside. It's a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet of the Irish Midlands and surrounding counties.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
