“Stayed here for a peaceful retreat between Christmas and New Year with our children. Apartment clean and comfortable, but the key selling point is unquestionably the fantastic view from the main room. Very impressive. Also great location - lovely circular walk from the door, local beach good fun, host recommended an amazing beach which is a 10 min drive away and our children adored. On our way down to Galway we did the Killary Fjord famine walk: one of the most beautiful walks I have ever done anywhere. The drive there is spectacular too. An excellent base for exploring the Wild Atlantic Way and this corner of the world.”

It is surrounded by idyllic beaches, including Carrowniskey Beach, one of Ireland's premier surfing beaches. Roonagh Pier is a stones throw away where you can catch a ferry to Clare Island or enjoy a days fishing by the pier.
“Wonderfully cozy house in a peaceful, picturesque location. We loved listening to the records, and had a very comfortable stay. Nice and warm, too, for Christmastime. Thank you - will probably be back!”
