Monthly Rentals in Kirkham Abbey

Great location. Close to Malton, a beautiful foodie market town with lots of independent shops, and 30 minute drive from York. Location on the farm is peaceful. Cottage has everything you need and more, all the amenities you would have at home you can find her. Owners are very welcoming. Had a great chat, from which we discovered the meadow by the farm house, which we then spent a lovely few hours in reading and enjoying the sun. A blissful weekend away.

We had a comfortable and cozy break at Charlotte's Cottage. The grounds were the beautiful and perfect for our dog!

Our stay at Mill House was just lovely. It was quaint with lots of character, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Jill and Jonathan were really great hosts. It was lovely been on a working farm, having sheep just outside the windows and hearing the hens and seeing people riding by on their horses. We were approximately 15 miles either way from York and Whitby. The journey either way was amazing and we were able to see the Yorkshire moors Will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lizzies Cottage. Everything was clean, lovely furnished and cozy. The surrounding area is perfect to calm down, the small town is extremely pretty and everybody very welcoming and friendly. If you want to enjoy the nature, go hiking, explore bigger cities or visit the coast, this is the perfect place to stay because everything is in good reach (max 1h drive) and after a stressful day you come back to the cottage and can enjoy the silence. Lizzie is super helpful and a very nice host, she had always been only one message away and helped us immediately in case we had some questions. The only thing to know: the cottage was quite cold as we arrived, and the floor on the ground floor (stones) stays cold. There are heaters in every room besides the kitchen with which we made it comfortable. Only the kitchen stays cold so better bring a warm jacket and warm socks to fully enjoy the place.
