The Haven on The Virginia Creeper Trail

Located on the Virginia Creeper bike trail, we are only a 20 min. drive from the summit of beautiful Whitetop Mtn. If hiking and biking are your thing, this is the place to stay, as we are 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail, and a 20 min. drive to Grayson Highlands state park. Downtown Damascus is a 25 min. drive, and Abingdon is 40 minutes. Both towns have cute shops, restaurants, coffee, parks, and antique stores. Bristol is located approx. 50 min. from our home, and Boone, NC about an hour.

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Nearby, you can enjoy the breathtaking vistas atop White Top Mountain or see the wild horses run when you visit Graceland Highlands. Parts of the Virginia Creeper Trail are open for biking and hiking. You can even catch a fish in Green Cove Creek or enjoy an evening around the firepit roasting marshmallows and telling stories. This is a vacation home with two bedrooms, den, kitchen and dining room. It is located close to the Creeper Trail, Appalachian Trail and Greyson Highlands. Bear Tree Lake is 3 miles close by, where you can fish, swim or walk the one mile trail around the lake. It is a place to come, unwind and disconnect. It is located 10 miles outside of Damascus on Highway 58 toward White Top and Konnarock.

Our Fisherman cabin has two bedrooms with queen sized beds, one full bathroom, and sleeps four guests. The front of the cabin faces the river and the back is just steps from the Creeper Trail.
