Family-friendly vacation rentals in Koundouros

We had a lovely relaxing time at the villa. Despina was an excellent host. We found great local restaurants and bakeries in Legrena and the excellent restaurants in Lavrion (The Port Restaurant was especially good). Plenty of amenities in the house and plenty of room to move.

We had a wonderful stay! The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially from the pool area, which quickly became our favorite spot. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking easy and enjoyable. It also catered perfectly to our baby’s needs. The host and their team were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. In the evenings, stargazing from the terrace was magical, adding to the peaceful ambiance. A perfect getaway for families or anyone looking for relaxation in a stunning setting!

Beautiful house in a great location with lots of sleeping and retreats. Surroundings a little steep and rugged. The sea is almost in the house! Wonderful.

We had a great 10 days family reunion. We enjoyed every moment. The house offers a home away from home feeling with a bit of Greek charm. It's quite close to the Athens International Airport (a bit over 30 minutes of drive time). Konstantina was quick to answer any questions and provided us with a welcome package in the fridge that was most appreciated. A car is necessary since the daily shopping can only be done ~7km away (~10 minutes by car). A nice beach is within walking distance (less than 5 minutes away). It is rather secluded, but a bit rocky. Beach shoes are necessary and it might not be considered child-friendly. It's quite empty during workdays and during the weekends it attracts a bit more locals. Multiple other great beaches can be found in relative close proximity, but not within walking distance. They also have beach bars and sunbeds. The nearest child-friendly beaches can be found in Palaia Fokaia, which is ~7km away (~10 minutes by car). Multiple tourist attractions can be found within less that 2 hours of drive time: - the Temple of Poseidon near Sounio - Palaia Fokaia, a charming Greek little town - the Attica Zoo - the Port of Piraeus - Athens with all its' wonders - the Corinth Canal Overall it was a great experience that's worth being repeated.

What a lovely villa south of Athens. Alexander and Helena have a truly special home. The views are beautiful and the setting extremely peaceful. You will need a rental car if you choose to stay here, but it is worth it if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. Athens is not far, Sounion is about 30 minutes, and Lavrio about 15 minutes. There are many beaches nearby, and many markets to purchase food and other goods. As others noted, there is a short dirt road to access the villa. It is not a problem. If we ever return to the area, I would absolutely stay again.

Great for the price! A large lawn in front of the house pleases the eye and children have a place to run. In early October, it was just a great option, when you no longer use the pool and it is not at all windy, unlike more open areas. On the other hand - 10 minutes to the beach when the weather is good I was not very happy with the slight smell of mold in the basement, where the beds are also standing. Overall it was a very nice villa where we drowned the fireplace and fried kebabs a couple of times

Very good stay in this very beautiful place, quiet, peaceful, on Liparo beach, very little frequented. Properly equipped house, pleasant to live in, with beautiful sea views. Small downside: the track is a little difficult to access it (SUV recommended). Nice and discreet host. In short, a memorable stay, to be recommended!

We loved our stay and are so grateful for Vassilia for her wonderful home. It made for the perfect getaway from the busy life of Athens and other parts of our busy vacation!

Good choice if you want to get close of the center of Ioulis. Great view and close to restaurants

While everything was great , we wouldn't recommend the spot to people who don't have jeeps & have young children . There are 2 driveways which are dirt roads . One dangerous , narrow with bulky stones, the other lightly paved, but we recommend him because he's even wider. Anyway, the house and its view were wonderful .

We had a great stay at Despina’s accommodation! Her and her family were really welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The perfect airbnb if you are looking for a peaceful holiday away from busy crowds. Conveniently located a short walk from the beach, with a cafe and restaurant also nearby (would recommend both!)

Thanks so much for letting us stay in your place Ioannis! It is a charming, back to basic house full of character and in a stunning location next to the sea. Ioannis was a great host always there for us and responsive to our questions and giving advice. It feels like Airbnb used to be! We visited in February and we're a bit unlucky with the weather but the house was the perfect place to relax and be cozy. The port is a short walk away and all the restaurants we ate at we're excellent. We also went on a couple of hikes around the island that were beautiful. I hope we can come back!

We enjoyed our stay very much, the house was spacious, clean and the terrace was just fantastic. Nicholas provided us with clear instructions, and Katie was there to greet us on the day and was very helpful. We hope to come back another time.

Amazing view from the villa.The villa is equipped with all the amenities you could need, especially the kitchen .The outdoor area is all you need to relax and enjoy the view and the pool with friends and enough spacious for a group of 6 people. Location very close to the port(approximately 15 minutes).

The villa was absolutely beautiful and my family and I had an incredible time staying over. We especially enjoyed how clean and nice the pool provided was. We highly recommend this location to anyone looking to stay in Greece.

Awasome location, big house (we stay with 2 families, 5 children the oldest at 9 years), clean and modern facilities, spend a lot of hours at the ca 20x5 m pool, had dinner at the "mezedopoleion" tavern of Theodoros, 5 min. car drive into the village, Theodoros manage for supply of fresh fish on pre order of 1 day or dishes like pastizio for the kids at reasonable prices, 5 min. car drive to the excellend beach of legraina 15 to poseidon temple. Easy internet success, cable tv (offered but not used) Recommendable at any times!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Adam. The Villa was beautiful luxurious and private. We had a group of 12 and we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. This was the highlight of our holiday. We loved the pool, views and gorgeous sunsets from the balcony. We would defiantly come back again and can highly recommend this Villa with wonderful hosts. Thank you.

We felt very comfortable, the place was amazing!

We came for a week to relax and the place is absolute paradise. The perfect place to get away but still be able to drive to next town for restaurants or shopping. The house is very spacious and feels warm and welcoming. It has really everything you might need. Sitting in the sun by the pool looking at the ocean and the ferrys sailing by while eating a home cooked meal with local ingredients is heavenly. The house has many rooms and we slept extremely well. We are very grateful for Alexandra hosting us and will 100 % come back should we return to Kea. The island is gorgeous and we went on some hikes and drives to explore. We recommend a car/ SUV to get around.

We had a very comfortable, pleasant stay. The villa is fairly high up in the hills, has incredible views, and is extremely quiet. Our host was always very responsive, and we had some fresh fruit delivered on several occasions that was grown close to the apartment. We would recommend the property and would return.

Panos, Oksana's husband welcomed us and was available for questions or others throughout. The complex is in Pasha Bay, not far from the centrality of Lavrio and a short walk to the beach. A car allows you to visit the area, go to the taberns and make the most beautiful beaches in the area, bikes could also do the trick but the main road does not allow you to drive with children. The pool is open from 10 to 13h and from 17h30 to 20h which is quite common in Greece (the world stops during nap time, but it may be that some neighbors fans of gardening do not stop). The house matches the photos and description very well, nothing is missing and everything works. The terrace enjoys the scent of flowers and the view from the Aegean. We highly recommend it!
