Beachfront vacation rentals in Kyushu

We spent 4 nights here and I wish it was more. The place is big, pretty and quiet, the beds were hot and comfortable. We got lucky with weather (17°c in february) and were able to do a different hike everyday, it's about 1h30 to reach either tops (one south and one north of the island) walking in the forest and with a nice view when you're there. Easy access without a car, there are 2 different ferries from Saiki and one of them drops/takes you 2 minutes away from the house, they cost 150 and 200 yen. Host is really friendly, helpful, knows well Kyushu (and the rest of Japan) and his kids are sweet and well educated.

We were surprised by such a large house that could have been so clean and tidy.The host was welcoming, reliable and warm, recommended a place to stay, loved it.

Easy to find and need to drive to. The owners are nice, below is their restaurant with good pizza, very friendly! The room is large and clean.There is a hammock for the little ones to play with. Incredible ocean views are such a bummer. By the road track, the good thing is that you can see the train plus the sea view The shortage is by the railway and the big road, there is a big car or express passing by at night or it will be a little noisy

The word "luxurious and rich" was the perfect space.From the moment you step into the entrance, you feel like you're in a movie scene.The staff were also polite and friendly, and handled smoothly from check-in. The rooms are spacious and the decor is well designed.I felt the attention to furniture, lighting, and amenities, and I enjoyed the extraordinary luxury atmosphere.The large windows offer stunning views, beautiful sunrise in the morning and the starry sky at night. There was also a kitchen and BBQ grill, so it was nice to enjoy cooking with local ingredients and have a relaxing time.There were no complaints about the facilities, and there was wifi, a washing machine, a bathtub, etc. It was out of season this time, but I was forced to use the pool.Thank you for your willingness to respond. The children were also delighted. It was really satisfying to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend a luxurious and quiet time.It was a wonderful stay that I would love to come back again for a special occasion.

I couldn't recommend the Lighthouse more. Seiji was so warm and welcoming. The location is so close to the multiple beaches on Iki. Seiji is incredibly generous, the room is huge, and the house is so relaxing. The best!

This homestay is right next to the sea and it was in a very nice location.At night, the sky was full of stars, and it was a dreamy beauty.We had a relaxing time while enjoying the BBQ with our family, and we had a very satisfying stay.We are really grateful that we were able to make great memories.Would love to visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kino Saji! The house was exactly as listed and the views were even more gorgeous in person. We were excited for the remote location and proximity to hike Kaimondake. We brought our own groceries to cook meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our hosts went above and beyond to answer our questions in advance and to make sure we were taken of throughout our stay. Highly recommend Kino Saji if you’re looking for a quiet getaway in southern Kyushu!

It was in a good location and great, but it was a pity because it was a rainy day.Even if I wanted to enter the building early on a rainy day with children, I was able to quickly unlock it and check in smoothly. The rest is a clean space!Thank you for the charger in all the rooms.I wanted to relax in the room more, and it was so nice for the main trip of the room!The dressing room is also spacious and recommended for children. I recommend Aiko-san for dinner!

Conveniently located next to the parking gate. The house is large and bright enough to accommodate 6 people. Toiletries, cleaning supplies, and plenty of towels. There are many stoves, pots, and cups and dishes. The homeowner also has coffee and tea ready for the stay. Overall: highly recommend

Yoshika and co host were very responsive and communicative. They answered every question about the apartment quickly. When I left my cap behind at check-out, Yoshika promptly helped me retrieve it. We love the apartment and neighborhood. Convenient stores, groceries, cafes, restaurants near by the apartment. Thank you Yoshika for assisting us.

Ayako’s place is very cozy, clean and comfortable. Equipments and amenities are fully prepared. Ayako is very nice, responsive and helpful, she gave us local recommendations and tips before we coming to Ainoshima. We really enjoyed the time at Ayako’s place and Ainoshima. If the weather is good, you can see the sunrise from Ayako’s place too! :)

What a special place. We were lucky enough to find this house as we cancelled another part of our trip and ended up staying 3 days here. This was the most beautiful Japanese house we stayed at over the years. The decoration is very intricate, beautiful in every day. The kitchen is exceptionally well furnished, we cooked every night and nothing was lacking. The situation, right in front of a pier makes the house stand out in so many ways. And we loved all the things to do in the region, it was a great discovery for us. Of course, we had our own leased car, we don't know how one would manage without transportation in the vicinity so we can't speak to that. All in all, we had a fantastic stay here and cannot recommend it enough.

Nicole 's place is as described on the listing. We thoroughly enjoyed using Nicole 's place as a base to explore nearby historical sites. We also enjoyed watching all different kinds of boats and ships passing through the straits. Weather was a little rough but the house kept us warm and safe. Thank you Nicole.

I used it on my seminar trip, but everyone was able to eat and it was a pleasant memory.

I stayed at this Airbnb for two nights in April and had a wonderful experience. The house was clean, spacious, larger than I expected, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including kitchenware. The location was excellent, with a beautiful garden and scenic surroundings. There are also several delicious restaurants within walking distance. The host was very responsive and provided clear check-in instructions when I informed them of my late arrival. The only issue we encountered was that we were unable to connect to the Wi-Fi, but aside from that, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
